He hardly ever gets hit and the 2 times ive seen him hit flush he was hurt badly..once when he got his with the Lewis uppercut he held on for dear life..and when Corrie Sanders hit him he flopped across the entire damn ring like some fairy ******...so how in the hell does he have a cast iron jaw?
The Uppercut he took flush off Lewis was one of the most horrifying punches I've ever seen landed in a boxing ring. The thud of the punch is sickening. That shot puts away 99% of any HW's that's ever stepped in the ring. Only Pele Reid has the magic formula to put Vitali away :yep
Pretty much this. When Sanders hit him straight on the jaw, he was just backing up, at no point he lost his legs which is the sign of being really hurt. Actually, when was he ever on wobbly legs (from a punch, not from exhaustion)? Never knocked out, never down, never even really wobbled. What more do you want to call someone iron chinned?
Do ya'll just turn a blind eye to this???the man chin is not iron.It may be better then Wlads but no iron at all
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw2F3CmgTy8 watch from 3:20 he gets hit, folds down a tad, apparently mostly off-balance from the sheer force of the impact, then just backs up as his legs look reasonably steady. He's a bit hurt but not really wobbly. Khan or Price in his last fight - that's wobbly.
What does that matter? He didn't go down. He has an Iron Chin. 'Almost' doesn't count. He took the punches.
So let me get this straight some on here love to talk about all the damage Lennox did to Vitali's face but you are saying he can't take a punch or doesn't have an Iron Chin? I mean half his face was hanging off right? But he doesn't have an Iron Chin after taking that uppercut after all the other punches he had taken earlier in the fight? :roflatsch Let David Price take that punch and lets see what would happen. Lennox would have KOed Price with a Jab.
