Laffie, so you're basically denying the fact that Pascal is faster than Froch & Andrade, who more or less a recognized as slow boxers? For your own sake, i really hope Bute doesn't goes in with that same mentality, because then Pascal is gonna beat him even easier than Froch. I expect the best Bute to show up, his pride is hurt and he has to prove something, specially after the Grachev comeback where he didn't impress a lot, neither did Pascal but he is far more proven than Bute is. I favor Pascal 70-30 % Because Bute can be dangerous & Pascal has some stamina issues and might even change style for the Bute fight. Let's not forget, if there is something i love about Bute is that left upper cut to the body, it's a joy too see when it lands and hurts an opponent. Cannot wait for this fight. First the Champions League final, then Froch-Kessler 2 and at last Pascal-Bute. If Danish TV buys the fight or if by that time have an HDMI cable, i will defiantly stay up till the morning for this one! A Win-Win fight for the Montreal fight fans & i have no doubt both fighters will make Montreal proud :happy

    Why?

Bute, who is very confident he will win, said he wouldn't retire if he lost, so why would you 'retire'?

It would be a mistake for Pascal to be too cautious. He shouldn't do something stupid, but he should start fast and hard, going for the early stoppage. Bute is on the backfoot in the first 3-4 rounds, and Pascal should take advantage!

Bute dosn't need to improve much, only a little to beat Pascal, what he actually needs to improve is his strategy, only the way he will approach this fight. Take into consideration that Bute looked terrible in his last two fight at 168, Johnson and Froch, I'm referring at his body. The fight he had at 175 even tho he only weighted 1 lbs or a little more over the SMW limit he looked far better at the Grachev weight in. The thing he lacked in that fight was confidence. He got some back afterwards. I'm pretty certain that going up in weight won't make him worst, but it can make him better. How?
Well he might pack a better punch, he might have better stamina/energy, he might have better punch-resistance. But those things will certainly not be worst.

Not that desperate, considering all the mistakes Pascal can do in a ring.

Let's not forget how well Pascal has performed tactically against Hopkins and Dawson...

This is the biggest fight of Pascal's life. He has Mayweather Sr. to give him tactical advice. He has the best conditioning coach, he has the man who inspires him in his corner, he is fighting in his home town against a fighter who everybody knows what it takes to win against... why should he not fight the right fight?

I don't want to appear the bad guy here or spoil the party... I am a big Bute fan too, right?......but I am just calling it as I see it, this time without any generous sprinklings of wishful thinking added...

I think the weight should help Bute, and his glass chin. He won't be drained. He's got more skills than Pascal is ever had. He'll will win on points.
