    Good move.

I know I'm in the minority, but I honestly reckon Thompson kinda' fluked it the first time.

    :eek:tta

Price destroys him this time round.

I am just realistic. Why are people saying Price has that much power? Just because he KOs domestic old fighters like Audley or Skelton? His power is overrated and he wont blast a TT out the ring! Whats so wrong and unrealistic about that? Maybe he has good power but World class? I doubt it.
Some people here just dont have a clue about boxing! Price has a bad inside game, cant uses his reach proper or his feets! Lows his hand all the time when he throws a punch or even STANDS there without any guard (in punching reach of his opponent!) after throwing his combinations.
No Price really has to improve much in order to be able to blast a veteran like TT out. :patsch

Price losses and he is done. he wins and he can move on. Price is the one here who has the more movtivation to win its pretty clear Thompson was looking for the biggest pay day as he gains little from beating Price again.

Not that TT accidentally threw that punch or anything, but I get the feeling he surprised even himself with the result he got from it. It just felt like a freak occurance the way Price's body reacted to it. That doesn't happen very often -- a relatively soft punch yielding a result like that (despite it striking in a sensitive spot) -- and I'm willing to bet TT won't be able to repeat the trick.

Great point mate. Price showing lots of balls and ambition here, clearly wants to right a wrong and show people he's not a crap fighter who will get blasted out every time he steps up. There was a rematch clause that Thompson agreed too in the original fight negotiations but I'm pretty sure he could have found a way around it and got himself another fight if he wanted too. He's clearly taking this fight again because the money Maloney is somehow managing to stump up because another win will get him next to nothing, people will just write it off as Price being shite and nothing special after all. People won't start suddenly calling Thompson boss.

Interesting, was convinced price was supposed to fight chisora during his boxnation contract or has he got one more fight left on the deal?

Good on Price, beating a couple of bums who weren't even going to land a jab on him wouldn't have done anything for him. Make or break fight, props to david and of course the man in my avatar for making it happen! :happy

Fair play to Price my memories of that fight is Thompson pinned on the ropes by Price as he is throwing bombs while Thompson has his guard up spying at Price through his Gloves trying to throw counters..
I see Thompson winning again by KO he aint getting bombed out like the rest..

The answer is just simple Price cant take a punch! Till the TT fight he was not tested! But he was already stopped many times in the amateurs! (Stiverne, Glazkov, or dropped three times by indian Varghese Johnson)
SO my conclusion would be that he is just glass... would be logic or not? So no fluke just a result that Price cant take a punch!

Yeah I feel the same. Price showing some balls here, and I expect him to win the rematch and look good doing so. Surprised he's taking the rematch so soon. Just imagine if it happened again though:-:)lol: Surprised how quick people's opinion of Thompson has changed also. Before the fight he was considered an over the hill fighter who was nothing special even in his prime. Now? Fools are thinking a fight with him and David Haye makes sense.
