There is currently peer reviewed research that claims Big Foot has a human genome. So claiming that PED usage will shorten your life(although peer reviewed) is specious by nature not to mention agenda laden and patently false. AAS can actually lengthen your life, while improving your quality of life and vigor, when used sensibly. honestly dude; how does a coach/trainer like you claim to be, buy into the PED boogey man hysteria that these ***** bitches in the media are force feeding you? i would much rather go through life being a lion than a sheep. Believe me the polotical infrastructure leading the witch hunt against PED's want to legislate a bunch of sheep not lions.
You guys want your athletes to be on PED's. it actually levels the playing field, making for more competitive encounters and feats of physical prowess that could never be achieved otherwise.
Do you understand how much evidence there is that Androgens increase mortality and chances of a variety of health issues? Most of the non beneficial health effects are related to ingestion of 17-alpha-alkylated steroids (usually oral preparations). Low doses and you'll probably be alright, but there is also a lot of evidence showing that low doses aren't beneficial to strength/performance. I don't know anything about the media, I work in the S+C profession so I pay attention to studies with credible methodology. Science doesn't have an agenda, it's using strict controls to prove or disprove a hypothesis. There's overwhelming evidence that high doses of androgens will shorten your lifespan. A bit of help with testosterone in middle age will help your quality of life if you have low levels but we're talking about sports performance here, a completely different issue. Nobody is trying to keep you down you fruitcake
It doesn't level anything, it just makes athletes push the boundaries further and seriously jeopardise their health. People respond differently to the same substances as well due to a variety of physiological factors so it could never be an even playing field. Most sports (especially boxing) can't even get things like periodization right and that would make a far bigger difference to performance than PED's ever could. If everybody knew how to train properly then PED's could make that slight bit of difference but you still have boxers jogging every morning, it's a backwards sport.
I bet your athletes are kicking ass all over the place.atsch You must have to keep potential atheltes from your elite training methods with a pointy stick, dipped in feces. Every S+C goofball who talks about PEDs like you is some ***** who cannot squat below paralled with his own bodyweight. You probably have a crossfit franchise in some armpit of the World. FYI moderate androgen loads are therapeutic, enabling CNS recovery. Coupled with the fact that most AAS have androgen profiles along with being androgenic to varying degrees. We are talking about sensible athletic preparation/periodiation of compounds that have a myriad of benefits when used in moderation. I have no interest in some case study involving some anabolic/androgenc dumptruck of a bodybuilder who has been blasting and cruising for years.
I will grant you that boing training along with other sports could stand to undergo a reformation of sorts.
