Wladimir Kiltschko has got up from every knock down, and has never been counted out.

His punch resistant's is that kind of exciting punch resistance. "Pretty much like David Haye's".

Pound for pound i think Amir Khan has a more proved punch resistance than David Price.

David Price still needs to prove he can fight under pressure and sustained bombardment! Those guys up above..? Haye, Khan, Kiltschko! have all done this even though they have been criticise for having weak punch resistance.

Agree with this.Hell want more money this time, and won't really care who its against,to boost his retirement fund.As somebody who would like both Price and Fury to do well,I hope its David.Still up in the air though, apparently.

Very gutsy move and fair play to both men, especially Price. Looking forward to this one - you just know the fight is going to be edgy as ****.

Good on david, if its a smart move time will tell, thought he may have one or two fights and go back in, but why mess around i guess, good luck to him

As already mentioned fair play to Price for going through with a re-match and It will be very interesting to see what version David Price we see personally I'm expecting a very cautious version.

I think price is a great guy but. And it's a big but, his chin is dreadful. Not saying he won't get past Thompson this time round, he may well do. But soon and as sure as night and day, he is getting sparked again. He just don't have the punch resistance to go with his world class power.

My thoughts exactly. TT was seen as somewhat of a joke back when he was being tucked into bed by Wladimir, and now all of a sudden he's a a dangerous opponent for most decent or aspiring heavyweights. Like you said, David Haye? Come on. Even Tyson Fury would handle him without much problems.

Honestly, the main challenge I see for Price with this rematch, is just the mental aspect of it. If he can get over that, he'll do TT over like he was supposed to do the first time. But yeah, it'll be almost irreparable if the same thing happened again .

price wins....and one day he will be a world title belt holder......but he will have other similar losses like that on his journey.

think of it like amir khans career played out at heavyweight.

    i have spoken.

You cant say that off of one shot. I think "chin" is a funny concept made up of a lot of varying factors. That Prescott jab that wobbled Khan in the 1st yet he was taking some real bombs off Maidana in the 10th.

Its obviously going to be a massive weak point for Price though at heavyweight. Especially now people know that he is susceptible to one punch. I think he needs to get behind his boxing from now one use his natural advantages size and height.

Keep that world class power in reserve he no longer needs to be to offensive if you have the power no need to go rushing in with it when you might get caught.

I actually think Pricey even knows he will go down regularly, going by the way he talks.

He does have the ability to go far though and did well in the amateurs even though he went down regularly, needs a new trainer.

Nothing wrong with getting knocked down if you get up and win.
