SOURCE - The Sun Boxing twitter "I've been waiting for the phone to ring from Team Klitschko but it hasn't happened. Their path doesn't include me this year." He wants to fight twice this year and become mandatory challenger: "I want to be a world heavyweight champion again." Haye: "Instead of sitting around waiting, I want to get back in there. People want me back and they'll be able to see it on June 29." "I want to put myself in the position to take the world title." Adam Booth will announce David Haye's opponent in the near future: "I'm talking to - number of top-ranked fighters at the moment." David Haye's comeback will be under the Hayemaker Promotions banner but no TV deal is in place at the moment. Of the five potential opponents for David Haye that Adam Booth is talking to, none of them are British. Haye: "I'm a couple of fights away from that mandatory position. Whether the Klitschkos fight me after that, we'll see."
Adamek fight will be over as soon as Haye lands one punch on that polish glass. I'd love to see Fury and Povetkin fights
App comeback is set for 29th June in Manchester, still trying to find stream details of the conference ? Anyone?
I tihnk Haye/Booth will pick Adamek - good name and a live opponent...but another small guy and one that isn't a banger. Watch for him picking a couple of fights with patter cake punchers...play it safe to get to the top spot. Fury could well be his 2nd fight. I've voted Adamek and Fury. Booth said 1st one isn't british so thats Fury out, but then we know that anyway as he's got to get past that small 36yr old cruiserweight he's picked. The 2nd fight with Fury if he gets past Cunningham would be a big domestic fight - another money fight over here - a 'top' UK heavyweight clash...I can see the £ signs in Hayes eyes already.
