Ok lets just use this as a example.

Fight chisora (a fight that needed to happen straight away to build on the momentum of the press conference) earn megga money then fight vitiali on a ppv after the public have restored some faith in him and the casuals like him after he was on im a celebrity get me out of here.

    Or

fight vitiali for whatever (probably less than he would earn from the chisora fight due to the vitiali taking the bigger cut) and possible lose. Then where does he go ?

It was obviously more beneficial for him to fight chisora first than vitiali or he wouldn't do it.

Booth's boast obviously comes with the caveat that Haye's pinky toe is fully operational.

Right bottom line is it was obviously better for haye to fight chisora then fight try and get a fight with vitali than just to fight vitali. Or else he would of just fought vitali.

Im not defending him i just telling you the logic behind his decision. Its about money and if i was a world class boxer i would be exactly the same.

you never turn down a shot at the heavyweight title to fight a guy that has 14 or 15 wins and lost 3 of 4 fights. see where that got him?

Dude if haye didnt fight chisora, vitali vs haye would still be very big considering everybody from fans, boxing reporters have all said vitali vs haye is the only REALF4CKING big fight!! And haye would still have gotten a big payday. For god sake haye in that vitali vs chisora post fight press even say to chisora that he wants vitali next in which fighting a 3 fight losing streak fighter IS A WASTE OF TIME!! Haye call out vitali demanding a vitali fight. <<<All of that sh4t talk and yet when vitali finally agree to fight haye and his team send a contract to booth, haye turn it down? LMFAO!! Why cause as you say many dumb a$$ uk fans wanted to see haye vs chisora more?:lol::lol::lol::lol: Thats not a good business move at all considering like i said earlier vitali team WARN!!! booth not to go through with haye vs chisora.

Considering vitali team WARN booth not to go through with haye fighting chisora. They basically tell booth if haye face chisora next then no vitali fight for good. Its twice or 3 times haye back away from the vitali fight. Idk why haye biased fans are still defending haye? Haye would still have gotten a big payday. Hell didnt booth said he was happy when he saw the offer of the contract? I assume he means its a big payday for haye? :patsch

Titles don't pay the bills after retiring. Haye gambled on a decision to get him the most money it still has the possibility of coming off, but he might have take another fight first.

Its not about titles to haye its about money same with alot of boxers. Fighting for a title is a added bonus.

And you honestly dont think haye would have gotten a big big money fight vs vitali without fighting chisora? Really? LMFAO!!! Vitali vs Haye would be the biggest money heavyweight fight if haye never fought chisora. Everybody said from fans, reporters, former fighters. Its not hard to figure it out nick. You cant ignored the fact vitali team warn booth not let haye fight chisora first cause if he does then no vitali vs haye down the road. <<<Do you understand those warnings? Do you understand and realize that was a bad business move?

Yes but why have 1 big pay day when you can have 2 ?

The sport is about money. People like haye and vitali are not scared to fight each other. They have been fighting since they where children, they have done it all in a fighting sense. The only reason fights get made / don't get made is money. If a fighter gets more money going a different route he will do.

If the money is right vitali will fight haye despite his warnings the only thing holding the fight back is money.

Money is the same reasons we didn't see mayweather, pacquiao, its the same reason why broner has jumped the 140lbs division and on the british scene its the same reason why barker, macklin, murray and lee haven't happened.

Haye saw a opportunity to make more money in the long run and went for it.

Nick, do you realize lets say haye fought vitali instead of chisora but if hate beat vitali, you know haye could fight chisora after right? So either way haye would have 2 big paydays. <<Haye could do that but didnt in which haye made a bad decision move. Its not hard to figure out. 1 big payday vs vitali? I bet haye would have got more money fighting vitali then he did by fighting chisora.

Vitali fans are absolutely livid with rage that Haye is now the confirmed number 2 HW on the planet due to VK's duck

Yer but the chance of him beating vitali is a lot less than the chance of him beating chisora. Its a risk/reward thing. If he never beat vitali (which is much more likely than chisora beating him) the big pay day against chisora is gone. Where if he fought chisora and beat him (something hes probably a lot more confident of doing) the big fight against vitali is still there.

Honestly what do you think his reasons for not fighting vitali is ?

It's really eating Ray up that his boy VK is ducking Haye like this.

Vitali needs to retire, save his fans this pain.

This ducking by vk is nearly as shameful as the bowe/lewis duck, wonder if vk will throw his belt in the bin:lol:
