Prime Montel Griffin was very good... He beat Toney, and got a DQ win over prime Jones by frustrating him so much.

He was never the same after the second Jones fight... But at his best, he was damn tough to deal with.

Talk about an ugly tough fight for Joe? Put him in the ring with a pre-Jones Griffin.

 

Late hit- my title they had to take it. Why? I guess that's the only way I could lose.

 

I don't think anyone around 175 in histroy would have been excited to fight the version of Jones that Griffin saw in the re-match. I had never seen Roy that angry, and Griffin was practically shaking, he looked so scared before the bell.
