Damn, hope he makes it out alright. Good thing he lost all that weight he had, it'll help.

Everybody has to die sometime. That guy lived a dozen lives, a hundred. If he dies now i bet everybody who posts in this thread combined won't equal his experiences in life.

He's not that old either. Has he had health problems for awhile?

He's only 56, but he got very, very heavy and also lived a very wild lifestyle. I think he lost a lot of the weight a year or two ago, though. Hopefully he pulls through.

Serious Q, ss that actually that serious? - "He's in danger of contracting pneumonia."

How bad is pneumonia? 1 of my girlfriend's had it a few times and I always told her to eat better and stop moaning.

There are different types. "walking pneumonia" isn't THAT serious if you treat it and stay on top of it, but other types are damn serious. It's a bacterial or viral attack on the lungs, after all. Not good.

Yeah this, depending on the type it can be very serious. Tony Galento got pneumonia right before he was supposed to fight Joe Louis and nearly died, needed several blood transfusions and a few months in hospital. Of course medicine has advanced since then but given his very unhealthy lifestyle it could be the end of Bazooka.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't pull through.

    Gomez Improving according to Fightnews

Pneumonia is a *****. Had it 3 years ago & it felt like I was dying. Imagine having the flu but magnified many times & you get some kind of picture of what it can be like. My Grandad died of it also so it's not nice thing to catch to be honest.
