How might the HW division look if prime Mike Tyson was active now

I think it could look something like this

    W Klitschko
    V Klitschko
    K Pulev
    D Haye
    A Povetkin
    T Fury
    R Helenius
    M Tyson
    T Adamek
    S Cunningham

Where do you think Tyson would be in this current crop of HWs during this tough time?

none of those guys would actually want to fight a prime Tyson, his record would look similar to Wilder's

He'd have to take a year or two off to give those guys time to recover after he KTFO1 the entire division.

Why would they not want to fight him? Are you saying that Wilder is being avoided?
These guys in general are bigger than Tyson and we have seen that when Tyson was matched with big HWs like K McBride he had trouble

Tyson had a good chin and some of those fighters above Tyson are not massive punchers so except for maybe Haye and the Klitschkos I dont think Tyson would be KOd in 6 rounds, even then I wouldnt just think 6 rounds. Prime Tyson was tough

Tyson of 86-88 would clean up the division. Both of the brothers would get knocked out.

I dont think he would beat the fighters rated above
I thought Chisora should have got the decision over Helenius, but I read that Helenius came into that fight with what I think was a shoulder injury which hampered him. Also Tyson is a different style to Chisora, not the same but more similar to S Peter and Helenius handled him ok

When have you seem V Klitschko, Pulev, Fury, Helenius etc KOd? Haye wasnt KOd but had a fight stopped

Tyson struggles with decent European opposition as shown with Bruno, Lewis, Williams and McBride

Could give a ****. You asked for opinions, I gave it.

FYI, the only person there that fought a prime Tyson was Bruno in 1989. And he got whipped -- TKO5. You asked how a "prime" Tyson would do in the division today, not post-prison and washed up Tyson.

How did he struggle with Bruno again? TKO5 in 1989...

Where was Lennox Lewis during this time? Sucking his thumb.... Avoided Tyson, Bowe, and Holyfield. And I like Lewis as a fighter, but he didn't want a piece of any of those guys until they were finished.

88' Tyson and 05' Tyson are as different as water and fire

Tyson would be avoided, because he was a legit threat, Wilder is being handled the way he is because all the signs are pointing to him being a hype-job who is getting stopped the first time he steps up

Helenius has a big size advantage that I think would help against Tyson. Helenius also has a good chin that I think would weather the storm and allow him to come on late

    Troll?:huh
No troll here orriray, this is an excellent thread for debate
