I'd disagree. He wasn't "brutally stopped", he had an unfortunate injury and was ahead before that. It's almost pointless to discuss what happened in the Lewis fight by now as people's oppinions are so entrenched.
Right back at ya.. you ****ing hypocrite. He wasn't brutally stopped but Lewis was doing much better in the 2nd half of that fight. He wasn't brutally stopped but Lewis was in the worst shape of his life and blocking Prime Vitali's punches with his face. He wasn't brutally stopped but that upper cut in the 6th had him in full retreat mode until the final bell. He wasn't brutally stopped but Lewis will sometimes start slow and still dominate later on (Bruno,Briggs, even Tyson he started slow) Vitali was stopped because he can't block an aging ATG'S punches. The end.
Lewis won 3 rounds.. That's 50%.. One round was a swing round that could very easily had been Lewis's. Vitali won 2 CLEAR Rounds. This really does not sit well with any Prime Lewis vs Prime Vitali scenario.. Also keep in mind people.. Vitali only lasted 6 against Lewis.. If he had lasted 6 more.. he would have lost 8 rounds or something..
He was 58-56 on the three judges cards you clueless clod. He landed 156 punches to Lewis's 102, and 79 to Lewis's 50 power punches. That's why he was 58-56, not 57-57.
