Thats a bad cop out. If Manny felt offended he could have done the testing, cleared his name, beat Mayweather's ass in the ring, collected a huge pay day and even more money on a rematch. And became a boxing icon on the level of Srr, Joe Louis, Ali etc..

If it was all about pride and being offended by accusations then they wouldn't have been playing around with a 21 day cut off date. Why would a 21 day cut off date all of a sudden make Mayweather's accusations okay.

We'll have to respectfully agree to disagree.

Why should Manny have agreed to the test just on Floyd's say so?

    They both have ego's.

He wasn't going to bow down and concede anything to Floyd.

I'm telling you straight, if I'd have been Manny, I'd have told Floyd to get ****ed!

It was a wild unsubstantiated rumour from a guy with a big mouth. Manny wasn't going to oblige them.

In my honest opinion, Manny backed down and agreed in the end, to get the fight.

I don't think Floyd's ever wanted the fight.

Lets look at things from a different perspective.

Lets say that Freddie had accused Floyd of roiding out of the blue, and demanded him to be tested.

Do you think Floyd would have said "ok, you can test me, I'm clean?"

I don't think it would have gone down like that at all.

I think Floyd, Floyd Snr, and Roger would have been outraged, and I think they'd have gone bezerk and refused the testing.

It's easy to ask "Why didn't he clear his name?"

If he's done nothing wrong, then why should he have to?

Again, if it was the Commision, then that's a different issue all together.

But Manny wasn't going to be talked down to by Floyd.

In the end, everything was agreed to, and the fight still never got made.

    It's a real shame.

First...Manny didn't duck any random testing...he agreed to random urine testing all the way up to the day of the fight. It was the blood testing that they couldn't agree on.

Second...Had Floyd been wrongfully accused by Shane, PAC, or JMM as to being a career long "CHEAT"...like Floyd did to PAC, I'm sure the masses would immediately look at Shane, PAC or JMM as avoiding or ducking Floyd.

I'm sure all Floyd's fans would stand behind him but there would be a lot of fans who would question Floyd based on the kinds of reckless accusations that were being slung his way, attacking his character and integrity.

The fact is Floyd isn't a media darling...so his backlash in the media would always be enhanced because of how he presents himself.

A lot of grown men don't like giving blood. Many folks are squeamish at the thought of needles but Manny didn't make excuses not to be blood tested...he agreed to be blood tested...just not all the way throughout his camp becuase it wasn't necessary. It was a hardline stance Floyd took for whatever reason, knowing Urine testing would be more than sufficient in accomplishing stricter testing measures. Blood testing all the way up to the day of the fight as a stipulation was ridiculous. Sure they eventually said 14 days but at that point they were in a negotiation battle on who would give into who and no one wanted to give ground.

Congress would have gotten involved and they would have questioned the **** out of Floyd and hoped he lied about anything so they could charge him with some ****.

Karma paid back Manny Pacquiao 10 fold...the entire world laughing at him getting KTFO by his biggest rival is a just punishment IMO. He got humiliated in front of millions, turned into a joke on the internet for days. Karma paid back Manny by showing millions that he wasn't even the best fighter of his generation.

PAC is still considered one of the best fighters of his generation...his accomplishments aren't erased because of his devastating Knock Out Loss to JMM....it's just a common occurrence in this sport where the end result ends in someone going to sleep...espceially if you step up to the plate as many times as PAC has.

Karma hasn't paid PAC back...Every fighter loses...all the great ones have. Floyd is in a unique position where he's still has his "0" but his life has seen deep valleys as well as high peaks. Karma could have been the reason Floyd had to do a bid after laying hands on the mother of his children....or it could have been just apart of making mistakes and paying for them as a man.

In Manny's case....his mistake was getting over extended looking for the kill in a 4th fight with Juan. the end result wasn't Karma...it was Juan's right hand that he launched and sent PAC in to la la land. But he was tappin' that ass before getting starched.

Floyd would be thrown under the bus hard. He'd be guilty until proven otherwise.

He didn't get humilated in front of intelligent people who are real fans of the sport.

He deserves respect, and I'm not even a fan of Manny's. Marquez also deserves respect. Marquez knocked out a guy who Floyd - "I'm the greatest ever" and "I'm in the cheque cashing business" didn't want to fight!
