I cant wait to see odds on this. I got Angulo all the way. People who have followed Lara closely know that pressure and an inside fighter is what will trouble him. Angulo brings all of that with serious power. Not to mention a rock hard chin. Lara does not have the gas tank to keep up and will be worn down then stopped. I always said that Angulo would be the ultimate test for Lara and that still stands. You guys remember how El Riel gave Lara problems? Angulo is much bigger and skilled than him. Lara never bothered to develop an inside game and that is why he is not a complete fighter like people make him out to be.
Based on the not-that-many (2 or 3) fights I've seen them both in, if Lara doesn't beat Angulo handily, I'll assign him "didn't live-up-to-the-hype" status. I'll be rooting for "El Perro" even though he really needs to lose the stupid dog-collar.
I hope Angulo whips his ass because Lara is a cheater. I know nobody saw it but in his fight with Martirosyan right after the stoppage he was caught on camera getting something put in his mouth as he spit out the mouthpiece and swallowed it quick and when the official asked him he shook his head and opened his mouth to show he had nothing. I don't know what it was but it looked like cheating to me. If I knew how to load up the video from my iPhone I would do it or if someone's tells me I will.
Paul Williams is bigger and brings more pressure than angulo and Freddy altogether ,I think Lara handled his pressure just well.
Should be a good one . A crossroads fight in the sense for both to get to the top. Moreover for Angulo but this should be fun.
Lara has underwhelmed me at times and doesn't always make great TV. However, Angulo is never in a bad fight and should push him. Lara by UD.
He is taller. I doubt he is heavier than Angulo is on fight night and also PW does not have Angulos power. Not to mention that was a post Martinez PW which was never the same.
