Well stated Louden, but I wouldn't expect too many serious replies to this. The motto of the Floyd fan: K.I.S.S....Keep it simple stupid!

But you are right, if roach and Arum accused Mayweather of being PED user, the entire Mayweather team would be up in arms over it, and probably file a suit as well. And as I've said from the beginning, I would support Mayweather's side on this issue if reversed. There's a right way and wrong way to go about anything. And the Mayweather's went the wrong way with this whole thing.

Funny thing is, from the very beginning, they were told by the NSAC they can petition them to add the random blood testing to the normal precedures for this fight. Arum and Pac saiud they would abide bu the commision's decision. Floyd never contacted the NSAC about that. Odd huh? Nice, neat solution....never once considered. :think

Good post, thanks for the replying to mine.

Yes, I'm sure it it was vice versa, the Mayweather's would have gone nuts.

I wasn't aware that they could have contacted the NSAC. I'm going to look into that. It's always seemed crystal clear to me, that Floyd never wanted the fight, because he was scared of losing his zero.

    Thanks mate.

That is crystal clear to pretty much most people these days. Floyd has a knack for choosing opponents that 'fit the bill'. Not exactly the cream of the cop or a threat, but good enough to stave off criticism, and fool the fools. Look at how his fight vs. JMM was marketed. #1 P4P vs. #2 P4P. In fact, JMM was barred from doscussing the actual weight for this fight during training camp and leading to the fight. If you noticed, it was always just billed as a "Welterweight fight" by anyone who spoke of it.

Kizer made note of Floyd's options when this was first discussed. Simply contact the NSAC, they would consider, and TR said they would go with what the NSAC decided. And no way would they decide against something like addition testing, which most people are fine with. Especially in a fight that gives Vegas an economin boon.

You sure can tell when somebody is new to the sport!:patsch You're dead wrong on this account! Please do some research before making a false statement like this.

Tyson requested it prior to Holyfield II.

I believe before that Hearns or Ray requested it for their bout. It's been something that has been requested in this sport but Floyd took this request/demand a few steps further with how he had a hand in structuring boxings first (optional) randomized testing protocol.

 Thanks, but I'm sure 95% of the board would disagree. It seems it's more important to be popular and post things that won't make the fanboys angry, then being factual or even genuine with posts.

Tyson was obviously very intimidated by Holyfield at that point knowing he could be manhandled and no longer had the skills to cope. He looked flat out amazing physically, but just couldn't or wouldn't pull the trigger anymore as far as his combinations, defensive ability, footwork, etc. Sort of sucks to say as a massive fan, but it's the truth.

 When you two stop sucking each other's dicks, one of you can maybe tell me why Pac tried to negotiate cutoff dates.

If he was so offended by Floyd's accusations, why didn't he just refuse the tests outright?

And no, please spare me the whole "he didn't want it to be taken too close to the fight" bull**** and come up with something that actually makes sense.

    Thanks in advance. :good
