What's unprecedented is the levels at which these demands were injected into the negotiation process. Requesting additional testing is different than seeking out a organization to create your own brand of tests....just like weight penalities from $1 mill to $10 mill is unprecedented based on the scale.:deal

:patsch Are you ****in serious with this crap? When you post something like this as some form of proof that Floyd would get villified, it shows you're grasping straws, reaching, or whatever. What an idiot....

Let's see if I got this right. The topic of the thread is asking what would have happened if Floyd didn't agree to the tests without cutoff like Pac did.

Most feel he'd be treated way worse, others feel it would be the same because they accused Pac of cheating and he shouldn't agree... Am I on point so far?

So those saying it would be the same are saying Pac didn't agree because he was accused, then demanded to take the tests without cutoff. Still on point?

The question posters have on that way of thinking is, why the hell would they negotiate ANY cutoffs or testing if they were offended by the actions? Why can NOBODY answer this? All I've heard is it's called negotiating, but who the hell negotiates with someone they're upset with for calling them a cheater? Why is CUTOFF dates the only thing needing to be negotiated, if your issue is them calling you a cheater and not the actual testing dates?

    Please someone answer this.

Too bad Manny never said he was afraid of needled rube.

You realize, Floyd was welcomed to petition the NSAC to add the testing he wanted. He never contacted them about it. What does that tell you?

My objectivity allows me to not ignore the obvious.

    Manny was cheating.

Floyd was afraid to lose to someone who, with the aid of steroids, had many of the tools needed to test him severely.

Floyd demanded tests out of suspicion.

Pac refused out of fear of needles.

Long story short, and that's as objective as it gets.

Yeah, and many people were still buying it. Arum truly outed himself with his plethora of reasons and excuses why it couldn't happen when things picked back up in early 2012 though. Pretty much all but confirmed he never intended for the fight to take place.

:-( 30,000 posts and still doesn't know how to articulate an objective response to a simple question...

    What a waste.

Not exactly the message he was spreading before things got real and he was being pressured to fight PAC. Before Manny beat Cotto and Hatton Floyd couldn't wait to expose Manny and make his biggest paycheck....but then all the sudden he needed tests and made negotiations extremely complicated.

    Bang on!

If it was vice versa, there's no way Floyd would have said "ok, I'll take the test etc."

The Mayweather's would have gone crazy!

Floyd Snr started the rumour, and had no proof whatsoever.

He said "He's started at 105, and now he's beating guys and knocking em out at 147, ****, he has to be on something!"

Floyd's gone along with it, and so have most of his fans.

Manny took them to court, and they completely embarrassed themselves, because they had nothing to offer.

    It was an unsubstantiated claim.

Manny not agreeing to the test, does not PROVE anything.
