You already did with the post above, which is why they won't answer the question and act like it doesn't matter. Makes no sense to negotiate cutoff dates if you're up in arms about being accused of cheating, and that's why you wouldn't agree to Floyd's terms. So one would think that's NOT the reason they didn't agree......

It made Team Pac look ridiculous. Floyd sort of offset that momentum - and he had a lot of it - when he rejected 50/50 being a plausible option anymore on that Bob Costas interview. He could've said nothing, and Arum/Pac would still be looking as **** as they were at the time. Both sides were just fine making bank with other options.

What? This is complete nonsense. The level? What the hell does that even mean? These demands were injected into the process during NEGOTIATIONS and at the BEGINNING. Right when you present things to work out. Since then multiple fights have taken place using these MORE STRICT testing requests/demands and nobody had any problems. Just Pac.

FMJ has no power over the USADA other than contracting them. He asked them to do the testing. Period. They have full control over what samples are take (blood, urine, etc...) and when (random). Nobody made a "brand" of testing.

The size of those onerous weight penalties is the only thing that was unprecedented. Just like the confident guy he was, FMJ signed right off on them.

    Do you seriously believe that?

Floyd would have gone mental, and Roger and Floyd Snr, would have gone beyond that.

Fine....then you've been here for just three months. Feel free to catch yourself up on old, overly discussed topics through the archive. Wasting time rehashing stuff already talked about ad naseum w/ board noobs doesn't interest me. Maybe if you had something original to add to the topic. :thumbsup

You believe Manny didn't agree to the tests because he was 'accused' then 'demanded' to take the tests? If so, why would he even bother negotiating a cutoff? You're upset about being accused of cheating, so you're response is to say you'll only be tested in a certain window of time? Do you think that makes sense, honestly?

Ha! Because he was roiding but didn't want anyone to find out! He'd borrowed some of Roy's Superman tablets that he'd bought From Christopher Reeves.

No, it didn't make them look ridiculous. Becausae most people with some intelligence don't just lump statements from 4 different people into one. Look at how many posters claim Pac said he was afraid of needles. I don't have time for that type of stupidity.

You hit the nail on the head. Had Pacfraud just said, "No. I refuse to be treated like a cheater and will only take the tests required by the commission."? Nobody would care. It would be an argument based on principle.

Instead Pac negotiated furiously, got caught misstating (lying) about his position repeatedly. Now, due to many fights taking place, Pac has removed all barriers to the point where he says he will do whatever testing Mayweather wants. He was always negotiating in bad faith. The only logical conclusion to draw is he either didn't want to fight, didn't want to test, or a combination of both.

To make a long story short, they cannot make the principled argument when Pac's position was obviously never based on principle.
