I fancy Canelo to win it. Think his strentgh will force Trout on to his bike and he won't want to engage, meaning Canelo picks up the win just by actually wanting to do something. Think a more exciting, faster paced Froch vs Dirrell.

In a bizarre state of events Ulises Solis has stated that he was damaged goods before his last fight due to Canelo attacking him in October 2011 over a dispute with Alvarez then girlfriend.

Solis claims ''Cowardly'' Alvarez blindsided him with a left right combination before sending him to floor and throwing another 1'2.

Solis claims his jaw was shattered (broken in two places) and a chipped tooth and talk he may have to retire.

    Alvarez denies throwing punches..

Trout stops him hard and early! Canelo is in wayy to deep and its such a shame seeing Golden Boy cash out on him already. This isn't Carlos Baldomir or Matthew Hatton hes up against an elite fighter with too much speed and talent for the plodding slow overrated Alvarez!

    Very well Sir.
A good weekend of boxing action coming up:bbb

I'm still swithering about going to the Canelo fight. The cheap seats start at 20 bucks:shock:

I fancy Canelo on points myself. I think an early knockdown either way would do this fight wonders. Both guys can be conservative.

How are you doing this Easter weekend?

Trout on points for me, unless we see some horrible cards from the judges which is a real possibility.

Its a bad match-up for Canelo imo, I think Trout's superior range & speed, combined with his reasonably cute defence will leave Canelo struggling to impose himself.

Trout points. I don't think Alvarez will show him anything he hasn't already coped with.

I'm good my man, Chilling with a can of Coke and chilling and winning :deal.

Scotty your as tight as a ducks arse if you don't go!. The event will be worth the $20 on it's own!.

It's a real pick'em. Canelo may show a different aspect of him game but just feel Trout's got his number. Pivoting masterclass :deal.

Not so much the ticket price but the 4 hour drive to get there and I'll probably be the only "hombre" in the joint too:yep

That Canelo is a pure tank and Trout will not have the size advantage unlike his previous fights. So far Alvarez has been calm and methodical but it'll be interesting to see how copes with Trout and his tricks. He'll either lose it and throw his game plan out the window or he'll figure him out and start hurting Trout downstairs.
I am really hoping Canelo can pull it off because a showdown between and Floyd will be HUGE over here.

 Oh i see, It's a light card although i do like Figeuroa vs Abner Cotto fight. Shame they haven't added more fights although i suspect there be 3-4, 4-6 rounders.

Great fight. I see Trout winning a close points decision.

Fancy Trout decision as well. Look at the odds on Trout to win lads, no way Canelo should be as big a favourite as he is.
