somebody who makes slithly welterweight or is very small, is for me a small welterweight, guys like timmy or maidana. somebody who easily makes welterweight is a natural welterweight like kell brook. and last, somebody who makes welterweight but at fight night is much bigger and on top can easily make 154 is a big welterweight. floyd easily makes 147-154, he is big welterweight or how does that look to you?

He has no business calling fighters out to meet them at a catchweight... fight them at their own weight or dont fight them at all....

Ward should stay away from that offer if he gets it.... Chavez Jr works with Arum so does Pac so does Bradley none of those fights will happen.

compared to guys liek maidana, timmy, even pac. yes compared to them floyd standing 5'8 with big shoulders is a big welterweight. he can easily fight 154 guys.

He isnt a big welter, Margarito, Williams, Cintron, DLH, Mosley,Forrest those were big welters...

But he isnt a small welter either, Floyd is a full fledged welter weight... but he sure as **** isnt a big one or a small one.

sorry, but this is bull****. There are big welterweights like Ortiz who is 5'9 coming into the ring weighing 164 pounds
Baldomir who is 5'8 coming in at 163 pounds
Margarito was 5'11 and would come in 160+
Paul Williams of course who was 6'1

I'd say an averaged sized welterweight comes in the day of the fight between 153-158 pounds.

Floyd is small for the weight.
Do you think Floyd has trouble making weight? He weighed 149 pounds 30 days before the Ortiz fight. He was less than Morales who was fighting on the same card at 140 pounds.

Floyd isn't required to fight above 147 ever again, but he probably will for the sake of viable opponents although I think Trout is going to take a megafight off the table from him. Guerrero at this point is literally the best fight at WW he could've made.

If Floyd won't fight Martinez at 154, he'll never fight Ward.:mj

okay, just that you leave my nutts

floyd is not the biggest welterweight, he is no paul williams or antonio margarito, you fine now :!:

he is also not a big welterweight and just as big as maidana or timmy

and he cant challenge 154 top level boxers like canelo or trout, who are now prime or entering prime, because he struggled by times with old cotto, who got beat much better by trout :****off

    you're so simpleminded.

Floyd can compete with 154 champions not because he's a big WW. It's because he's is skilled and smart enough to do so.

Did you consider Roy Jones a big or average sized Heavyweight?

such a smart arse. look the whole disccusion about floyd big and this, you put it up. I mean I sauid it first, but you kept it going. why is so hard to have different oppinions. I accept that you think that he is a small or normal welterweight, than just accept, that I think that he is a big welterweight, where is the problem smart arse?

secondly, if floyd is so smart and skilled and good enough for 154, than it should be no problem facing and beating guys like 154 version martinez or canelo. than one question, than why the **** isnt he in the ring with those boys? now stfu
