I think it is, but to each his own. You might feel like you can relate to someone 'cause you're from the same place, and that's fair enough, but I don't see anything wrong with a British person supporting a non British fighter over the British fighter. Doesn't necessarily mean they hate the British guy or want him to fail. If a fighter has the right personality, he'll have good support regardless of where he's from.

 

I disagree you should always get behind your home fighters, the way we get behind our boxers is what makes us the best boxing fans in the world. Im glad not many people have your attitude.

Chilemba looks tip top.solid and athletic and happy with what he has brought to the table.
Did size bother andre ward when he demolished chad dawson!?
I fully expect a great performance from chilemba here and a stoppage in the final 3rd of the fight.
I seriously think we are going to see a new star in the light heavy division.
This kid has got better every fight and at 25 years old I think his progress is fantastic.
No disrespect towards Bellew but can anyone honestly tell me how great his progress has been?
Being dropped by Mckenzie and Ajisafe only adds to my confidence in a victory via stoppage for the golden boy

 

I doubt Chilemba is intimidated by anything there today. The guy came from utter poverty in a place rampant with HIV. A few years back he infested a tape worm and had the eggs lodged in his brain. He was told to rest for two years but 5 months later he was back boxing. This is nothing for him.
