These were just waiting to hatch – and had they done so I would have had 17 tape worms making a nest for themselves in my brain,” he says. Reading a lot of bigging up of Chilemba and a competitive scrap would be good but I'm struggling to see it. Unless Bellew has suddenly got badly drained at the weight or bottles it then he should be fine. Chilemba carries his hands too low. Hanging your chin out is ok if you're a defensive genius but this guy is far too easy to hit. The Bellew of the first Mckenzie fight could have problems with Chilemba but the Bellew we've seen over the last 5 fights wins comfortably as long as he doesn't go in there over cautiously like the Miranda fight and the 2nd Ovil one where he wanted to box too far out of range.
Regardless of whether Ive met him or not, it doesn't take away from the fact that sometimes he comes across as a **** with his quotes. A humble man would wish his opponent luck and that be an end of it. Pumping yourself up by ranting and slagging off the other fighter just comes across as someone who is a bit scared. He really does need to rein in the aggressive rent a quote ****, its disrespectful.
If this is the only Chilemba fight that you've seen then you;re in for a surprise ...the same way as if the only Bellew fights that anyone had seen were Ajisafe and McKenzie. The 8th round of the Vlasov fight isn't representative.
:deal was edging towards supporting Ricky in his fight vs floyd as I was a big fan of both then the drunk football hooligans started booing the US anthem and immediately wanted floyd to knock him out to see their reactions.
Yes haven't seen much of Chilemba. Haven't had time to do much of trawl either and thats one of the first things that came up. I'm not exactly Bellew's biggest fan but he has shown variety in his boxing since the McKenzie and Ajisafe fights and a boxing brain to control a fight. There are still nagging doubts about him though and it's just that I'm not sure Chilemba is the one who's gonna expose any weaknesses. Then again you listen to some of the nonsense Bellew comes out with and you wonder about his temperament, although he dealt with the difficulties that came up in the last fight very well.
