What's Your Position On Pacquiao? Fan Or Not?

Lets say the USA did something crazy like win the WC. Then all of America went soccer crazy and started spamming every soccer forum about how Clint Dempsey is GOAT and the US Team is GOAT and whatnot. Basically just showed up and took a giant dump all over civilized sports discussion. That would really **** off all the long time soccer fans. That actually happened to boxing forums with the *******s.

 

Same thing happened with the Klits aswell.

There's nothing more off putting than fans who cannot be reasoned with. Was a massive fan all the way up untill probably around the Cotto fight. The Marquez III robbery was probably what finally put me off him, even though it wasn't his fault.

 

One of the most exciting fighters of the last 20 years. How could you not be a fan of boxing and not a fan of him.

All these people who are Floyd fans and hate Pacquiao, or Pacquiao fans and hate Mayweather, are,in my opinion, not real boxing fans

 

I don't disagree fans are annoying. But if you let them make up your mind for you, basically they are telling you who to root for. Just seems ridiculous. It's not impossible to hate fans of a fighter, while still being a fan of that fighter. Color me crazy... :nut

 

And it happened w/ Floyd fanatics. Hell, there's still a lot here. do they make you hate floyd too?

It comes down to being mentally strong enough to make rational reasons. Hate the fanboys all you want I say. I do. But the fighters are a different story. And hating fighters because of fans is just silly.

I respect him from a boxing standpoint. Outside the ring, he seems like a cool guy.

 

Love him, my favorite fighter. Awesome heart and great shows. Have been a fan since right after the Barrera I fight. Thought he was through at Barrera II, everything else since has been icing on the cake of an exciting hall of fame unique career. Personally been to all three Pac-Morales fights.

I think Mayweather,Pacquiao and Marquez are all incredible fighters.

For some idiots here, they think they have to like one or the other.

But I do understand what you said earlier about fans. Ive always thought the Klitschkos were top class,and easily the 2 best HW's of the last decade.

But I found myself insulting and belittling Vitali even though Ive been a fan since he KO'd Herbie Hide, due to the sheer irritating behavior of his fans in not accepting he a lost a fair fight to Lewis.
