Okay just read the rules on their website. The Semi Finals are the same and the Finals are the same except both events are held one night after the other rather than over two weekends.

Maxwell took a couple of standing 8's in their 1st fight iirc, late on as he tired Loma got through with a few but he never looked that badly hurt.

He's got decent pop, hand speed & accuracy but he'll never be a one-shot KO merchant.

Some of the comments I've read about Loma have been ridiculous

:yep I cant wait to see an iron-chinned Mexican pressure fighter drag Loma into really deep water, then we'll see what he's made of.

Well it's easy in hindsight. The only other fighter who has come close in my eyes was Roy Jones and he was doing that with a style that was risky. Lomachenko has athleticism and most importantly finely tuned, high percentage fundamentals. That combination is close to unbeatable IMO. His results over his boxing career back that up.

Lomachenko vs. an iron chinned pressure fighter (with good skills) would make for a great fight. I think he'd outskill most anyone, but I'd like to see his conditioning/pace over 12 rounds. It's conceivable that he could tire and be hurt. But his style would make for an interesting fight, war of attrition type thing.

His style is impetuous, his defence is impregnable etc....

I think you don't know boxing or much about anything really because you talk in absolutes and don't understand that everything is relative, with many variables. Couple that with your pathetic sparring videos (where somehow you thought you were at an intermediate stage, despite getting bashed by a girl and a fat kid while you walked around pretending you were Floyd, while not even coming close to being able to throw any punch properly), you lying about competing in boxing, and the fact that you killed a dog because it barked at you. You're a simple mother****er, a lying fruitcake who likes to pretend he's a boxer. Put me on ignore again :hi:

 looks like I touched a nerve. Your tactic is to insult me (with a bunch of irrelevant bull****) as much as possible because you disagree with what I say, and can't come up with an adult response? What does what I do in sparring have to do with what I know about boxing? Your couch critic ass probably couldn't even come close to my "pathetic sparring". I took you off ignore because I thought you were ready to have a mature boxing discussion...if you have so many issues with me, why'd didn't you tell me to put you back on ignore right away? :huh

Also know that ignoring you w/o the help of the software is well within my capabilities. :good

Yeah, despite the width of my card Selimov did push him and got in some fantastic body wallops.

Do you also think Loma can compete with seasoned pros at this stage?

As an example Pulev who was a good but not great amateur beat Oloukun coming off the Brewster win in his 3rd pro bout and stopped Skelton in his 5th.

How do the individual championships work in WSB?

I see they're over 7 rounds but is it just the top 2 ranked guys in each division?

Yeah and the rankings are ******ed since its solely based on win/losses regardless of quality of opponents. Go 5-0 against nobodies and you're in the finals.

Although Mytrofanov vs Golub is possible for the MW Championship and that would be a great fight.

Cheers, yeah the rankings do seem to favour guys who fight at home & often.

I was just curious if Selby could make the final, looks like he will :D
