There wasn't a sudden death bout, Mexico won 5-0 & the QF 6-4.

Didn't see it on the footage I just watched, I thought the sudden death bout was only fought if the teams were level after all 10 scheduled fights.

Link to Ortega vs Osueke please

You cant fight 2 weeks in a row & all those guys fought last week.

GB didn't have a squad with great depth or experience, its been a good debut season for our lads who will have learned a lot & will be better prepared for the professional game.

Evans being out last week really cost them, I think he would have won his bout, and then last night would have went to a decider. Maybe would have been worth having McGoldrick having boxed a4 home and took the risk of Selby fighting Emigido, but ifs and buts.

Can't wait for Selimov vs Lomachenko today

God knows why we brought all the big guns out for the home leg, surely would have been better to give the lesser fighters home advantage than dropping them in the ****/Mexico.

Selby would have boxed rings round anyone anywhere and Joyce prob would have picked up an away win also.

    Bad tactics.

:deal It basically comes down to this, good thing about the WSB is that it shows how much depth the teasm really have. GB might have had the most talented first teamers, but the fellas that Mexico kept on reserve in were their depth lay.

I think next seaon's Lionhearts will probably be weaker, a lot of the team GB squad will be turning pro soon, either when the WSB season finishes & their contracts expire or after the worlds in October. I hope they invest in some good imports, especially the Irish lads with WSB experience.

WSB does favour a more pro style than pure amateur 3 round fights, everyone (bar Selby) struggled against more seasoned & aggressive opponents. The biggest surprise for me was Joyce beating Dychko & only losing to Usyk.

Was always a uphill struggle after the first fixture.

TBH it's a development season IMO. It's been positive and there's a lot to learn..

It was Hrgovic and Selby didn't face any real quality BW's, Conlan was the best guy he fought. I was hoping GB would get through so we could eventually see Butsenko vs Selby and watch him brutalize that pitty pat showboating clown.
