Don't be so nit picky. Rios and Alvarado were shaking hands while Rios was going off on his rant. That's not a sign of respect for one another? Besides, I believe Kellerman and Alvarado looked towards Brandon and in a way called him over for a conversation. I wouldn't have done what Rios did. I would have waited. But since both fighters put up one hell of a show let's give them a pass to break a few petty rules.
lol no ones making a big deal about it, its just a comment, like you said I wouldnt have done what he did. Awesome fight though.
People put too much into how fighters act after they lose. These dudes are warriors, not saints.... he didn't get ultra disrespectful he was just amped and emotional after his first official L. He should have put that energy into emptying his gas tank in the ring and tried to follow Garcias instructions though.... Cant wait for the 3rd.
Rios could have cried robbery and claimed Mike was running and made excuses. Instead he held up 3 fingers while up on the ropes, shook Alvarado's hand, gave him props, and called him a warrior.
I didnt mind what he said, but he should have let Alvarado have his moment and enjoy his victory. Wait your turn.
wtf is wrong with you guys? dont you guys watch esnews? This is the same guy who mocked freddie roach and threatened to kick a 80 year old chinese man's ass. Rios is always like that, he's keeping it real. in many of his interviews with elie, he says that he aint changing for no one. What i saw there was a very excited rios.
Nah man that **** aint cool. Every fighter deserves their moment to speak their peace. And Mike is a cool dude too. Rios couldnt take the loss like a man and **** all over Mike and went off on Kellerman for no reason. Just look at Roberts face during Rios' meltdown. That was painful but kinda funny to watch
No issues and I dislike Rios for his Roach mockery and his fans claiming he would get more respect if he was Golden Boy
He just came off extremely excited, remember the first fight? It looked like after every round, Rios kept telling Robert in Spanish "I'm ****ing loving it" he loves to be pushed, and the challenge. Just like in sparring, I bet you've notice in your gym that some guys get really pumped up after fighting inside.
