so you're gonna disregard his fight against Senchenko? i think Cano won, but he didn't even make weight and weighed about 160 on fight night i think.. this is a money fight @ the end of the day, and the top fighters @ 140 are tied up @ the moment. i don't care who the opponent is, jumping up weight divisons is a risky move and it won't be as easy as easy as people think.. not talking about who's "the man" i'm talking about whether he won his title the legit way vs being a paper champ..
floyd at 140 and 147 is unbeatable. i dont think anyone can beat him let alone stop him. floyd s by far the most skilled fighter of this era. i personally think he's one of the most skilled boxers ever. maybe the most skilled boxer ever. people just wanna see him in a tough fight. i think people want to see just how great he is. broner and mayweather shouldn't be in the same sentence. mayweather's a proven all time great. what has little broner done? nothing. broner compared to floyd is just a prospect. i think mayweather could beat any 154 pounder out there and i could envision him beating everyone at 160 as well. i honestly think he could do it. people wont ever give him his just due. please dont compare little broner to mayweather.
Stop with the racist bull**** in this thread, it isn't because Floyd is black. The people demanding he move up weight classes are people desperate to see him get beat, plain and simple. He is an outspoken and controversial person, so naturally he has a large following of people who hate him. It has nothing to do with skin color, it has to do with him being unbeaten for so long, his controversial nature, and the jealousy of people on this forum. Floyd could never fight at 160, he doesn't even belong at 154. He can't make 154, his body is pretty much maxed out, he isn't a very big guy. He had huge size disadvantages fighting at 154, Oscar was like 16 pounds heavier, Cotto was significantly bigger too. People forget Mayweather was a SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT, he has moved up as much as he possibly can, his body is all filled out. He could still easily make 140, he is only like 150 walking around.
If you are considered head's and sholders above everyone else at your weight, than you are expected to find greater chalanges.

Yes it is a money "showcase" fight for Broner so he can claim he moved up to fight the best while moving a relatively weak 147 instead of the packed 140. It is a joke. No one has been able to make a claim for being the champ in the division since. guy hasn't had a competitive fight for 10 years. but people keep throwing there money away, get swept away in the advertising hype like sheep. want to see competitive fights. there is only one elite fighter at 147 and floyd has already beat him and that was easy work because of styles. everyone else in that division is shot or B+ max. Want to see him have to dig deep.
