I think that is the most overlooked thing about the guy. He was a genetic freak. Just look at what he had going against him from the measurables. But that kind of strength and stamina is beyond freakish. You can't teach or train that into an athlete. I am always amazed when I watch him.

It's no ability. He walked through Louis jab he will come forward no matter what. I'm just saying I was a little disappointed.

ah, i see it was unveiled a few pages back.

Still, for all the revelation it was, you might as well have posted a picture of the Rock's mutilated corpse with a trollface underneath.

Lemme see if I can parse this right, SP :It's not just coming forward no matter what; it's never losing punching power...a whole other animal.

He has the power because the other fighter has quit or is exhausted. Constant coming forward and hitting them he breaks his fighter down. The only fight I can agree is Walcott. No fighter was the same after fighting Marciano..because he punched so hard? No.

It's pretty sad that several posters here resemble an 8 year old who starts crying when not getting a handful after being promised candy. Stop bitching and be happy someone shares his knowledge. This is the first thread since a long time that has drawn nearly all Classic contributors into a single topic.

    JG,

I think Marciano was a bit off in the Moore fight. In one round, he swung and hit nothing but air 17 times! Moore lacked the stamina to hang in there, so Rocky caught up to him late.
