15-14 but yeah pretty much Kelly Pavlik was just naturally bigger than GGG and its too early to tell given the fact that GGG is being avoided but soon well be able to make a better judgement Despite GGG looking small for a middleweight and Pavlik being huge, Golovkin seemingly has more power, can actually cut off the ring and may have a better chin as ive yet to see him blink from a punch
I think GGG is more skilled, Pavlik was limited but he was consistent, GGG has the more varied offense, better bodywork, better combinations, better timing and accuracy and better at setting up his shots.
GGG is smaller but seems to be more powerful than Pavlik.... it is BECAUSE he is a better punch technician than Pavlik Pavlik was just a basic puncher, thats all there is to it. He had to get set, and throw his 1 -2. And he didnt have good defense either. A top caliber opponent will mitigate his Right and keep turning him, and he'll never get off and end up over-reaching... He's pretty lucky Ward injured himself cuz he'd suffer a most humiliating defeat at the end of his career. He was a 1 trick pony in his prime, and that even went away out of prime...
Pavlik wasn't necessarily more skilled, he still required a bit of range to go for his big shots, his size was more what he went out there with at 160 to impose.
There was no one at MW more powerful than Pavlik. When Pavlik hit you, it was over. GGG is a better boxer and could hit you in more ways, but punch for punch it is Pavlik.
Yeah that really sucks ... That being said I still feel AA was a bigger ONE PUNCH ko artist than Pavlik.
tszyu had great footwork. as for a true boxing fan, ill wait to pass judgement on ggg until he steps up his competition...to this point really no fault of his won.
