Also Wayne McCullough vs Naseem Hamed. He broke Hamed's massive KO streak, and everyone knows the Prince could ****ing hit.
Hatton walking Tszyu down when Kostya was pretty much the biggest puncher in boxing at that time. Also Jake vs Ray is the number one of all time.
McCullough didn't get hit with many big shots in that one, though. Pretty uninspired performance from Hamed. Morales was hitting him with flush shots all night long.
He still did get hit with a pretty fair amount of flush shots, and Hamed had 1 hit KO power big time. McCullough took the shots like a champ, and yes he showed a beast chin vs Morales too.
Mercer vs Morrison deserves a mention Tommy just teed off on him for 3 or 4 rounds, hit him with everything but the kitchen sink & Ray just soaked it up & then brutally knocked him the **** out. Mercer vs Cooper was another amazing display of toughness & punch resistance, taking bombs from a noted banger whilst his jaw was broken. Mercer vs Wlad, & Mercer vs Lewis were impressive too
You could've counted them on one hand. So long as we're talking about powerful shots. Morales was hitting him with more punches flush in single combinations at times than Hamed did the entire fight. It was insane the way Wayne was shaking them off.
