For each bout, both fighters at their best and no serious mistakes:

    Prime Ali (1967)

    Nobody

    Prime Tyson (1988/89)

    Foreman
    Liston
    Ali
    Maybe Louis
    Maybe Marciano

I think Holmes' piston like jab would give a prime Ali serious problems. Ali's handsdown style doesn't bode well for what a Holmes jab brings to the table. Holmes had a better variety with both hands than a prime Ali.

Holmes jab was just as good as Listons..And ali found a away..He'd be able to keep Holmes off him without a doubt, and out speed hi bad

I've heard that Cus always knew Holmes would be champion for a long time. Because of this, he specifically trained Tyson to beat Holmes from a very young age. If this is true, then I think Tyson beats any version of Holmes.

It was better than Liston's. It was more of a free flowing jab than Liston's with a higher output. It was also much faster and would find the target more on a prime Ali.

H2H beast yet struggled mightily in his own era? Don't get me wrong, he'd be a helluva scrap for just about anyone, but H2H he's not even in my personal Top 10.

I understand the sentiment but that's too much of a lack of quality and Tyson is far too durable. He's not a guy that gets taken out by one shot. I'd wager there chances are ever so slightly better than Bruno's was, though. It's a minute percentage, but fair enough you explained yourself well.

Did he struggle though? up unti Lewis he beat everyone he fought. In the rematch I had it 7-5, fair to say prime holy fares better than past prime holy.

Even after that he managed to beat the likes of Ruiz, Rahman, Oquendo, Valuev.
