And Rob slags off the value of having boxing on terrestial TV. Those viewing figures are about double the numbers of a provincial newspaper readership.

You have in the past slated those who have lamented the lack of boxing on terrestial TV, and argued that the best platform is Sky etc etc. You have, don't lie Robster:good

No chance, I doubt they have that many subscribers and if they do only bout half of them would have stayed up to watch it, unfortunately.

No. I have said there is no place for BAD boxing on terrestrial TV and said the dross put out there by Hennesey in recent years has not been good enough. I didn't like the way Channel 5 just showed the fights, no marketing.

Frank says they have close to 200,000 subscribers, and you would have to imagine a high percentage of BoxNation subscribers watch the fights live or record them.

Here are the figures from 2010 & 2011. Worth bearing in mind that there are half the amount of shows missing from each year because they did not make the top 10 for the channel so we don't know the viewing figures.

    03/12/2011 - Arron-Rose - 126,000 (Maloney)
    11/12/2011 - Khan-Peterson - 237,000 (Goldenboy)
    18/12/2011 - Ward-Froch - 248,000 (Matchroom)

Still when Commonwealth title fights like McDonnell-Otieno, Walsh-Awuku, Vassell-Colomban are getting double the viewing figures that Matchroom card got this weekend you start to get worried.
