GGG gets hit too much, and I do not think he is all that impressive on the inside. Against someone with no defense, sure his hooks land. Ward would smother this guy to death. GGG has a good jab, not sure how that is going to work against a guy bigger than him who fought guys that hit way harder (froch) who is up close and killing him on the inside. You would have to be a fool to think GGG beats Ward.

Ward UD. I would be surprised if he lost more than 3 rounds.

I thought Golovkin said he would fight anyone from 154 to 168?

Again, styles make fights, and Froch's awkward powerful one may bother GGG more.

Nobody's beyond beating or getting knocked out, and whoever GGG fights he has more than a paper chance. Give a style match and the opponent is in trouble.

That's EXACTLY why I give GGG a very good chance, because Ward is willing to take some to give some, and he must, cause he's neither Roy at speed or Floyd at defense. He can be hit and will be hit vs. Golovkin, and just ask Chad how far skills go when a skilled puncher gets to his chin. A Winky is a horror opponent for GGG, a Jones is too fast, a Ward with high IQ and calculated risks he adopted because of the lack of elite speed or power of defense could be his downfall. GGG ain't no pattern fighter coming in at predictable angles and telegraphed shots, he's a master of distance, timing and exploiting weaknesses with destructive power. He's the anti-Ward style.

In one of his interviews he said it's his decision in pros to show attacking boxing with cutting off the ring and giving his opponent a constant pressure. He also said he is capable of working off the back foot but it's not interesting for him anymore (left it in amateurs). He said he wants action and drama (you heard it many times lol as these are one of few words he knows in English), and is willing to take a punch to get a sense of what condition his opponent is and what power is those hands (you may have not heard it).
I would agree though that at this point he still needs to get more experience before facing Ward.

Most ppl. didn't see Ward beating Kessler until it happened. Sometimes great fighters hide in plain sight, GGG is so much better than a kid with a punch.

I agree I had Ward winning the Super 6. but I agree he is more than just a punch. I just see Ward being in a better league. Golovkin can dominate the MW division for years.
