So why dont you instead of acting 'a class above'. In the scenario described would you have not supported the boxer you came to see then and not retaliated when attacked? Or would have stood there in silence, clapping politely then getting smacked round the head with coins and pints before calmly exiting the building at the end of the night? That is of course if you were physically capable at that time.
Wow someone else comes here, admitting they sang and never got involved, yet gets abuse. Others who were there and are regulars here, aren't talked down to...surprise eh
I agree there should be segregation and better security but don't you think it's a ****in' disgrace that it's even needed in the first place? Does this regularly happen anywhere else in the world? Or is it just British boxing fans that are complete mongs? Note: I realise it's the minority. People are saying beer plus rival fans sat together is bound to cause trouble. This is the sad thing. In some countries they sell beer at McDonalds, but not here because we're too mongtarded for that kind of thing. Are they gonna have to stop serving alcohol at these events due to mongtards? I don't think it's a scouse thing either. I remember someone made threads re. trouble at Mitchell vs Katsidis in London, trouble in Birmingham during a Khan fight, trouble at the MEN etc so it's a nationwide problem, clearly. Grown men not able to behave themselvesatsch
I smell a load of ****. I only seen lads in Kappa trackies getting a good pasting and I know scousers dont wear them
The problem also is how would you police or even setup segragation? Assuming most tickets are bought online from a few retailers how would you know who the ticket buyer was supporting? If you segrated the arena into a 'home' and 'away' end, how would you split ticket allocation? Unless you went the football route, which seems unlikely given boxing draws in neutrals from all over just wanting to watch good matchups. You would have to rely on people being honest from the outset with possibly a question page asking who they support and a ticket allocated according to that choice and seating arranged around it. Unfortunately the people you want to prevent going, will choose whichever end is more likely to end up in a scrap
Well said. It's easy to lay the blame on alcohol. Plenty of other sports sell alcohol at their venues for events that last a whole day and there never is a problem.
I think it would be easy enough to set up. Put Crollas fans in 1 stand. He had fans here there and everywhere last night, Bellew and Derry had their fans with tickets in the same block. It's absolute suicide. Whats so hard about giving Crolla tickets for 1 block and have Derry and Bellew fans in a separete block. Anthony is obviously going to be selling his tickets to mancs. Tony and Derry to scousers. Obviously the trouble on Sat night would be coming from Liverpool and Manchester lads so if you sat them separately in different stands the trouble would be minimised. It's not rocket science is it.
The way arenas are set up now they should also segregate the section of bars, toilets, food places behind one of the stands.
I was there, i was in the area where all the trouble was. I know what i'm going on about. Your a scouser your obviously not going to like what i'm saying. Get brought up like an animal you act like an animal. I've been in the United end at Liverpool before now, (when o'shea scored in the last min in front of the Kop) The scousers were sh**ting in their hand and throwing it on the mancs. It's not just boxing. Its how scousers behave in any sport. Just scruffy mongs
