Paulie gets credit because he's been willing to take on the toughest opposition available in their own backyards through his entire career. I've never seen a poster argue he was a better fighter than Calzaghe though.

If he was black and from the US he would have no choice but to fight some of his contemporaries while they were still great.

neither were ever huge draws and spend most of their careers either promoting themselves or with small promotors

He spend 90% of his career fighting poor opposition in his country . Then finally comes to america and fights 2 legends past their prime .

Loses to Hopkins and then gos on to dominate Roy Jones .

Its not that we UNDERRATE Calzaghe .

(We) The majority of the boxing world just dont RESPECT Calzaghe .

They weren't huge draws, but they were involved in big fights. Hop fought Oscar and Tito etc. Roy fought Toney, Tarver and Ruiz. I get your point, but they didn't need to travel like Joe did.

You know why Joe Calzaghe will never get the credit he deserves? Because he isn't Hispanic, Latino, or Asian. End of thread.

Boxing science proves how most roads lead to Calzaghe

Calzaghes legacy is so great, that most of the so called top fighters around his division and even today have a loss that dates back to the name Calzaghe.
Just look and play the game

Toney - lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Dawson - lost to Pascal, who lost to Froch, who lost to Kessler, who lost to Calzaghe
Ward - lost to D Boone, who lost to Pascal, who lost to Froch, who lost to Kessler, who lost to Calzaghe
Froch - who lost to Kessler, who lost to Calzaghe
Hopkins - who lost to Calzaghe
Jones - who lost to Calzaghe
Tarver - who lost to Hopkins, who lost to Calzaghe
Nunn - who lost to Rocchigiani, who lost to Eubank, who lost to Calzaghe
Pascal - who lost to Hopkins, who lost to Calzaghe
Pavlik - who lost to Hopkins, who lost to Calzaghe
M Griffin - lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
J Taylor - who lost to Pavlik, who lost to Hopkins, who lost to Calzaghe
Mosely - who lost to Wright, who lost to Hopkins, who lost to Calzaghe
De La Hoya - who lost to Trinidad, who lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Bute - who lost to Froch, who lost to Kessler, who lost to Calzaghe

The Klitschko Brothers and the HWs also
W Klitschko - lost to Corrie Sanders, who lost to Hasim Rahman, who lost to Holyfield, who lost to Toney, who lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
V Klitschko - beaten by C Byrd, who was beaten by Wladimir Klitschko, who was beaten by Corrie Sanders, who was beaten by Hasim Rahman, who was beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Holyfield - lost to Ruiz, who lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Lennox Lewis - lost to Rahman, who lost to Holyfield, who lost to Toney, who lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Tyson - lost to Lewis, who lost to Rahman, who lost to Holyfield, who lost to Toney, who lost to Jones, who lost to Calzaghe
Bowe - beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten by Calzaghe
Joe Frazier - beaten by M Ali, who was beaten by Holmes, beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten by Calzaghe
Big George Foreman - beaten by M Ali, who was beaten by Holmes, beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten by Calzaghe
S Liston - beaten by M Ali, who was beaten by Holmes, beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten byCalzaghe

I had to find out how true it really is, that all roads lead to Calzaghe and take this science to the greatest of levels.

My findings will truly blow the minds of the ESB minions.

I decided to look at some of the considered all time greatest fighters to see if Calzaghe really is the greatest and just look at this -

Archie Moore - beaten by F Patterson, who was beaten by M Ali, who was beaten by Holmes, beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten by Calzaghe

Sugar Ray Robinson - beaten by J Archer, who was beaten by E Griffin, who was beaten by A Minter, who was beaten by T Sibon, who was beaten by F Tate, who was beaten by M Nunn, who was beaten by R Rocchigiani, who was beaten by C Eubank, who was beaten by Calzaghe

M Ali - beaten by Holmes, beaten by Holyfield, who was beaten by Toney, who was beaten by Jones, who was beaten by Calzaghe
