if there werent about 20 weight classes and pac didnt try to create more for his benefit, it would have been impressive

Sure, but its already impressive enough given that nobody's done it before. Look at Floyd's "reign" in only his 5th weight class.

no one has done it before because they didnt get his matchmaking and there were less weights. and yes i agree, floyd should be stripped at 154 soon

I don't know what Ward has planned, but if he's going to take on any middlewight, it should be Sergio Martinez, and if that fight can't get made, than GGG.

He shouldn't even remotely consider JCC jr as his next opponent. Ward will just outbox him to death, Chavez doesn't have the technical skills that guys like Ward possess. He makes up for his lack of technique with a lot of power and heart, but he's still quite undeserving of a matchup with Ward. He got destroyed in that Martinez fight for over 90% of it. That 12th round was incredible, but it doesn't justify him getting a shot at Ward, and for that matter, Martinez again.

Pac beat multiple ATGs before he ever hit welter. Then in 18 months easily knocked off all the other guys rated top 5, as of him entering the division. In his 7th division. Sounds like you're just looking for reasons to complain.

his wins at the lower weights are what made him i agree, the rest just careful matchmaking. its no coincidence the first decent 'boxer' he fought above 140 was marquez again in 2011 and was badly outboxed

And he fought him 4 times, that's part of what makes him so great.

Cotto no good at boxing, Bradley? Sounds to me you're just regurgitating some talking points you saw somewhere, doesn't seem like you know what you're talking about really.

I'm not really reading that carefully, I see you're serving up the same tired old slop. Clottey's a decent boxer, and Cotto of course.

clottey is average at best and cotto was lucky to get the decision in that one, and pac still needed that good ol catchweight to fight him

Clottey was top 5, and better than the likes of Ortiz and Guerrero. It's not a slight on Cotto he needed generous judging vs him. He just made Judah retire even faster than customary, and he's not even a pressure or power guy.

why on earth are you saying hes better than ortiz or guerrero like that somehow justifies him lol all 3 are terribly average

and cotto was done after margs bricked him

And yet it was a lot stronger than SWW, JWW, and LW.
