Anyone heard anything about him going pro? I usually only lurk here and remember reading something a few weeks ago that April was when **** would end up going down... So anyone "in the know" heard anything as of late?

FWP said they haven't spoken to him in a while. Hearn said something similar.

I bet they've both approached him more than once.By my reckoning,he's not fought for 8 months.Bit of a waste really, considering what he could be capable of

I read that he had a foot operation and that's what kept him out of the World Series and thus been so inactive since the Olympics.

His contract with the British elite amatuer squad expires either this month or next. So if he's going pro now, we should here within the next month or so. I'd guess he will go to GBP, but that's a pure guess on my part

He should sign for GBP and they could eventually match him up with their other heavyweight prospect Tom Dallas.

Daft as this may sound I don't think this would be a bad idea, maybe in his 3rd pro fight, say,in a 6 rounder. This would mean he bypasses the fat Latvians,as Dallas is above that by some way.Maybe wouldn't like to see it as I think Dallas deserves a break.Already been thrown to the wolves a bit too much.

Dallas should be his 1st pro fight.

They're changing the rules for the next Olympics so Joshua might as well turn pro now where he'll learn far more and make more money.

If he does I'd hate to see him sign with GBP or any other foreign promoter, we should try to keep talents like that to stay here in Britain. He seems destined for a fight with Tyson or Hughie Fury down the road at some point.
