For all the **** talking and racist remarks he has made about Asians, I wouldn't feel sorry if Rigondeaux's jaw indeed gets broken like what happened to Mathebula. I respect Rigo as a fighter but not as a human, he has a lot to learn if he wants the respect of many boxing fans.

He called Nishikoa Chinese even though he knows he's Japanese and said he lost to Donaire because he couldn't see because of his slanted eyes.

Well atleast he's selling the fight. Rigo will be so hated if he wins. Now I'm officially interested in this fight.

Rigondeaux is black ,a minority that's frequently discriminated. He doesn't complain about it.
There is significant population of Asians in Cuba, many of them were running from communism in china and then got themselves trapped with communism again in 1959.They are a very laborious and disciplined community who built numerous businesses around the island,in Havana there was a famous Chinatown. The most famous Cuban painter was Wilfredo Lam, of Chinese descendent . My chemistry professor was of Korean descendent and we all called him el chino, he even referred himself as el chino. My dads judo professor was Japanese ( takahama) and all students called him el chino taka.
It's very common to see couples referring to each other as chino or china,as a sweet way to show affect.
Racism sometimes goes overboard in this forum.

It's not racism it's ignorance. Americans have never seen race outside their own context. I was raised Muslim and you would routinely see people and cultures you cannot place racially into one category as American and who would identify themselves by their nationality or ethnic group more than how they looked (ie Arabs who looked black who were from MOrocc then you would see some blonde green eyed dude from the same place)
