They're better than what your average guy on ESB can make probably, but I do feel I could make much better and overall respected rankings myself (to sound like a tough guy and pat myself on the back through the internet).
its not complete madness but the ring rankings have been getting shitter since gbp fired all the old staff and hired their puppets the site and mag are also getting worse
He was rated in the top 10 P4P list before he left 140 to fight Pacquiao, he hasn't really done anything to lose that position while not doing anything to deserve a high standing at welterweight (the ring didn't acknowledge the Pacquiao win) I don't see the problem personally.
Who the hell has Kell Brook or Malinaggi beaten at 147 to be rated higher? Malinaggi has wins over Eurobum Senchenko and Cano. One of Kell Brook's best wins is over a guy who spent the vast majority of his career fighting in Oklahoma horse racing tracks :rofl atsch Bradley's wins at 147 Pacquaio Abregu Provodnikov THat's a better top 3 than Guerrero, Brook and Malinaggi. Alexander has the wins over Maidana and Bailey, and they still don't match up. It's a sham and disgraceful.
We'll learn a lot more about Brook after the Alexander fight, perhaps he actually is good. I dunno though, think he **** his pants a little bit when the Bradley fight was offered to him.
Well, 95% of people think Pacquiao more than decisively defeated Bradley. So it's up to the beholder on if you recognize the judges decision or not. The Ring didn't (although they pick and choose; like how they DID acknowledge the judges decision in Pac/JMM III). Guerrero's wins over Aydin and Berto are better than Abregu and Provodnikov. Period. Good luck debating that one through. Clearly deserves higher ranking at WW than Bradley, in my opinion. Brook has spent his whole career there with double digit victories at the weight. Solid level wins over Jones, Hatton, Jackiewicz, Ndou, etc. I think an argument could be made easily. Could go either way. Malignaggi has the Senchenko win in the Ukraine. That's a better individual win than either of Bradley's. Plus he has the super close SD over an overweight 149+ lb. Cano and a few little "tune ups" with Lora and Jose Cotto. Not to be dismissed. Case could be made for Bradley, but I really would probably take Paulie's resume there. Alexanders' win over Maidana is comparable in the size department to Provodnikov, but Maidana is/was much more accomplished, feared, and dangerous than Provodnikov. Much more. And Bailey had established himself through the KO of Mike Jones as having shown something against a top ten guy in which Abregu never ever had, and still hasn't... I'd say Alexanders' two win resume at WW is quite underrated. It's all opinion though, and the WW ranks are more debatable now than ever in recent memory.
Abregu - unranked at 147 and that was in 2010 Pacquiao - + The Ring does not acknowledge it as a win. Provodnikov - not ranked at 140 and first fight at 147. Lets not forget that Bradley won it with just one point :rofl
A win is a win is a win. Aydin is a Turkish cab driver. He has beaten no one. Hell, he just got outboxed by Soto-Karass FFS. Berto's best win is probably over Quintana, and has lost and looked horrible on numerous occasions. Jones is a club fighter. He's spent the vast majority of his career fighting at a horse racing track, which is funny because that's all he is. A trial horse. Matt Hatton is a club fighter. His name gives him credibility he doesn't deserve. Jackiewicz is a eurobum. A journeyman. Certainly on the same level as an Abregu. Senchenko is a Eurobum. He has beaten absolutely no one, but an old inactive Hatton. On the same level as a Provodnikov. Cano is best known for being ahead and getting stopped by old fat Morales. But the majority of Maidana's career was at 140. At 147, he shouldn't be rated highly as his only win of note was Soto-Karass. Bailey was and is a journeyman who KO'd an overhyped Jones.
Yeah he one every round and he knocked him down you dumb ****, even though they called it a slip=11 points there you go acting smart hating a black man
