Erik Ochieng vs ??? Vacant British Light Middleweight title

But he hasnt earned a shot like liam smith has

 

Selkirk/Smith would beat Ochieng. The Eagle tries to be flashy but he's not really suited to that style IMO and will get found out by solid domestic level fighters, which is what both of the other 2 are. Ironically, I think a more classic long range boxrler like Rose would have suited him more.

 

Ochieng beats Smith who is average at best.

 

i am sure eddie will 'find' someone for him to fight

The board need to be more assertive in situations like this and order the smith v eagle fight

 

I would imagine any deal for the fight will include a sanction that the Smith fight is next...also no reason why Smith will not be the opponent.

 

Ochieng is average though. And Smith is far more solid, stronger and a better combination puncher than Ochieng. So nah, I don't see Ochieng potshotting his way to a win in that one.

 

I see this fight allot like Anthony Small vs Matthew Hall from a few years back. Small never gets credit for that win because of his out of the ring actions but it was quality showing.

 

Ochieng would pick him apart IMO.

 

I like ochieng and fancy him to keep improving higher after lonsdale
Jamie cox is a name should be in the mix if he fought regular

 

Why has rose vacated?

 

Already owns the title outright so moving forward.

 

Got told at the weekend Selkirk has pulled out of the O'Sullivan fight.

 

id like to see nasser al harbi, seen has ochieng team avoided 2 purse bids to fight him for the english title and hand pick opponents for him wud b a good 50-50 fight 2 young hungry fighters.

 

kind of got ****ed over the day eddie signed brian did the eagle

ochieng can beat rose all day long but he cant beat the big crowd revenue and big beer revenue of the winter gardens unfortunately

 

I hope that's not the case he seriously needs fights, such a waste of talent.
