Rigo's straight right that knocked down Marroquin was big and if not for Marroquin's huge height and weight advantage, he would have been KO'ed.

If Donaire wins by decision would be a shock.. Rigo knocks out Donaire would be a shock to most. only because they are not really hardcore boxing fans just watch boxing with a few beers and a laugh with there friends. True boxing fans know the deal :tong:hey
Rigo Brutalises Nonito I also predict that Donaire time off to be with his wife and newborn. and to rebuild :hat

that's the beauty of this fight, there's a ton of possibility, not just one.

None of these are unlikely both have power so either can KO

Rigo might be able to counter Donaire to a points win

or Rigo may be too defensive and lose a points win

Only outcome that would suprised me is Donaire decision, i think if Rigo can avoid Donaire's left hook he can outbox him, and maybe catch Donaire coming in with a nice body shot or brutal uppercut, if Donaire catches Rigo with anything Rigo will probably get dropped, i cant see Donaire outboxing Rigo and landing more punches but not stopping him

I can't imagine Rigo getting a decision at all.

Absolutely noting in this fight would surprise me. UNLESS it was an early one-punch KO. I expect there to be some feeling out before they come at each other, but if one of them decides to come out swinging...

If Rigo scores a KO it will most likely be a bodyshot. Which is something I find just as likely as Donaire landing a headshot KO. Both could happen at any moment.

But has Donaire shown any visible vulnerability downstairs? Because Rigo certainly has upstairs. And I think stoppages on body shots are less common at higher levels of the sport.

Everybody is vulnerable there. And the way Donaire leaps in with his shots makes him especially vulnerable to the counter downstairs. IF Rigo can stand there and throw it, which he might not, being vulnerable to the head and all. But Rigo is a surgeon with that bodyshot...

True, Donaire feints and sets up his shots well, but I'm not sure it's always hard to guess when he's about to step in, and that's the trigger for Rigo's counter left uppercut to the body. When he gets on his toes it's a nightmare to figure out what angle he's coming from, but waiting there patiently, Rigo can throw with Donaire and catch him like that.

Donaire has to think Arce and Nishioka, not Mathebula and Vasquez. One punch at a time and Rigo could very well drop him.

The only thing that would surprise in this fight is Rigo not getting KO'd cold immediately if he gets caught by a solid hit from Nonito
