Floyd Mayweather Jr is a GREAT FIGHTER. He gets underrated at WW by haters. I know he's not a natural WW, but just based on h2h abilities I have him as top 7 ALL TIME H2H WELTERWEIGHT. He is a great fighter. My top 10 H2H Welterweights ALL TIME Rankings 1- Lennox Lewis 2- Sugar Ray Robinson 3-Sugar Ray Leonard 4-Tommy Hearns 5- Kid G 6-Napoles 7 - FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR Outside of Lennox, the 2 Sugars, and Hearns.. Floyd is either a favorite or at worst 50-50 against anyone else in history at 147. Lennox, SRR and Hearns are just too god damn big for Floyd. Leonard is (imo) overall the greater fighter..
lennox lewis? is there a great welterweight lennox lewis i dont know about or are u just ******ed and gay?
I don't think Floyd or Adrien are demanded to move up. I think they move up because of financial opportunities. I'm surprised Adrien is moving up not one but TWO divisions and I think he's doing something that should be respected because that **** is not easy. Floyd has been moving up so I think he should be able to do whatever he wants in terms of where and who he fights. of course we all want an opponent that will test these great boxers but it seems they need to move up to find those challenges. The difference with Trip G and not hearing a lot of talk about him moving up is because he's not talking like he wants to move up...he's talking like he wants to clean out 160...after he does that...IF he is able to accomplish that feat then maybe his career will see him move up and the demand will be there. When Nard was running things at 160 in his day there was no talk of him moving up...that wasn't his direction at that stage of his career...but of course we saw Nard move up to Lt HW and make some waves.
no one really cares what floyd does anymore - he's a cherry picker. For Boner, most want him to man up and fight the best at 140, but I could care less what he does. He'll be in and out of prison for years to come, serving as yet another poor role model.
quoted for truth!! martinez is too good for anyone at MW but people aren't begging for him to jump up and fight Ward! There are numerous fighters out there who come in way heavier than Broner does on fight night. The average Lightweight rehydrates 15 pounds for **** sakes! Dude isn't tall at all either, 147 might be too much, he's been the shorter fighter in the majority of his title bouts outside of Eloy and Rees.
