really? go to any pac-mayweather thread that compares their resume and you would see them rabidly insisting that floyd has the better resume.

That's why I made a new thread and poll. He's not even close in that one.

No Hands. you are usually a supreme poster.. but you are dead wrong in this one. Not because you don't know your boxing, but because you misunderstood the poll question.

Your thread asked 'WHO IS THE GREATEST FIGHTER'

This thread ask 'who have the greatest resume'.

Who have the greater resume? Froch or Calzaghe? A lot of people might say Froch.
Who's the greater fighter? Almost nobody will say Froch.

Lewis might not be as great of a fighter as Floyd (racism and hatred plays into this) but he sure as **** have a resume that's on par if not better.

Lennox Lewis has more votes than Holyfield? Bunch of idiots around here, I see.

Maybe you should set some criteria on this. Are we talking about WINS, or just having fought the best? There's a huge difference between the two.

Official loss or unofficial loss? If you discount the Felix Trinidad loss as a victory then I doubt Mosley was doping at the time of their first fight but it was confirmed that he was doping by the time of their second fight.

It's between Mayweather and Pacquiao. I give Pacquiao a slight edge since he fought ATG's Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera when they were still good. Mayweather is lacking those guys but he fought a bunch of the same fighters Pacquiao did but before Pacquiao faced them (Mosley,De La Hoya,Hatton).

Good choice. I think it's Pacquiao.

I change my mind about Whitaker.

The more I reflect on Pea's career the more disenchanted I became..

For a guy who was incessantly labeled as a hard-luck fighter screwed by the judges, he also carries some of the biggest gifts ever on his record, Rivera I was not even close, Pestriaev was a sham, and Vasquez was a flat out fix.

Yet, we have to hear the Chavez was a robbery though it was a close fight, that DLH did not win (he won going away to all but the most biased observer).

Whitaker was the master of doing 10 seconds of brilliant fighting in a 3-minute round. That, and a lot of running, turning his back, spinning opponents, clutching and jive-ass clowning for the audience, none of which garnered him a point from me.

He beat Vasquez handily and those other two fights were at the tail end of his career. I don't know WHAT you're talking about.
