You don't get 175lb guys going up fighting 230 lb top 5 ranked and championship level heavyweights every day or year. You are to busy looking at Oscar's name rather than looking at the details and breaking it down to compare.

You cannot go by actual pounds in a discussion like this. You'd have to calculate the percentage of weight gained in relation to a fighter's original weight.

A fighter moving up from 130 to 160, for example, is a much greater jump than a fighter moving up from 170 to 200.

That's why the weights classes are so close together in the lower weights.

To Jones at a 20lb disadvantage against a solid heavyweight?

Not to mention that Jones had a 20lbs advantage over BHOP, which i don't see you crying about.

DLH had LOST his last fight at 154 before moving to 160 for two fights. Then when came down, beat Mayorga, who had done NOTHINg of note at 154 himself.

I think Floyd's resume is alot more consistant in talent and is deeper....

But you have to give Roy a considerable nod for Toney and Bhop plus the Heavyweight feat....However his best win is clearly Toney...who he dominated.....the Toney win was and still is just impressive....not a win on Floyd's resume to compare....no matter how you cut it.
