I figured I would make a thread where Mundine fans can post who they would like to see Anthony fight on his way back to the top of the boxing world. Obviously Shane Mosley has been mentioned as a potential opponent, despite being easy work, Mosley gives Mundine another route into the states and the win would add more clamour for Geale to man up for a third beating. Cotto would be another name that I think Mundine should go for, despite already rejecting offers from Team Mundine in 2011 I think Cotto would reconsider after his back to back losses. If Trout loses to Canelo I could see this fight being mooted about again, despite being quick and slick himself, Trout is not Mundine and would get soundly outpointed. Ishe Smith, Kirkland and Martirosyan are fights that I would also like to see Choc take. All of this is conjecture but one thing is for sure: Mundine will be a world champion again, not everyone can rob him after all!

HE should fight K9 and if he wins fight Smith, if he can't win those he needs to give it away.

I agree, K9 should be an easy win and Smith would be harder but still easy work for Anthony.

Out of all the champions Ishe would be the easiest but he fought pretty well against Bundrage, show a lot more than I thought he had.

Smith is a solid pro, very good defence but fails to let it all hang out sometimes. He has been robbed a couple of times which is never good. Glad he got his world title but Anthony would take his belt. Easy route to a title for Mundine.

tbh he should give it up, his skills arent what they used to be anymore.

His defence is still slick and effective, I know a lot of you think Geale whooped him but I disagree. He doesn't have the workrate he once had but he lands clean punches and I feel he boxes a lot smarter than he used to. I really feel he controlled the rematch and think he got jobbed because of his lack of work rate and that he chose to box off the back foot too much but he did enough in my eyes. Throwing punches for the sake of it shouldn't win a fight.

People have written Mundine off at various stages of his career, starched by Ottke, starched by Wood, awful against Falliga. He has always come back. He has another title in him, I can't see him conceding the spotlight without another huge fight.

Mundines main assett was his speed, he doesnt have this anymore and he has lost ALOT of power in his punches. Watch Geale v Mundine I and then watch Geale v Munine II and you can see he has lost alot of his skills.

He isnt going to get any better anymore, he will only get worse and only look good fighting bums.

I'm a Choc fan but also a realist. The best possible move he could make next is to announce his retirement

K9 could of actually been a very winable match for Mundine but I'm afraid he should really just bow out, he's already got enough to take care of him and his family.

He needs to ditch the circus that hangs around him and make his own choices. He has a hell of a lot of ambition and ability for a guy his age, he should plan for the immediate future. He can use his notoriety to create a decent brand for himself in whatever he chooses, but it seems he wants to impress all of the wrong people. He has nothing left to prove inside the ring but has plenty of time to remain successful if he's smart.

He should go back to 168 and fight the winner of Froch-Kessler and go to America where his impressive win over McKart is still fresh in the minds of many and have a IBF/WBA/WBC unification fight with Ward.:good
