Do they have investors from elsewhere or is the project resting on this 300k?

 

That's what I would like to know, especially as they claim they will work on the project until it's done.

 

Boxing just doesn't have the fan base for this game to be successful.

 

You need 150,000 people to pledge £20 each to get the game in production. I can't stand this sort of cynicism where people criticise what looks to be a good idea rather than get behind it.

If it doesn't hit its target you've lost nothing.

Same here. Play it that much I have to retrire after 30seasons and then start again.

 

You get a copy of the game for download if you pledge £20 and 2 copies if you pledge £40, 3 copies for £60 etc

 

This idea won't take off. I'd rather see EA Sports do some promoter mode on Fight Night instead of story mode.

 

We'll be lucky to see another Fight Night and, let's be honest, they'll make a mess of it again. It would just be shallow and frustrating, with a shitty interface and a soundtrack that is more compelling that the actual fighting.

Fight Night Champion somehow managed to be less advanced than round four!

 

What's to stop this company taking the £300,000 (should they get it), and just disappearing with it?

 

And that was before they started tweaking it. It was shite to start with, then they made it worse with the patches. Way to go, EA.

 

In theory, nothing. Same as all the other Kickstarters. I've not heard too many stories about that happening though.
