i feel'ya and understand...but it drives me crazy that all those assholes are living off of boxing...that's it i dont mind seeing him with other celebs, or boxers....but it's them free loading, loud mouth ass suckas that really get to me.... i guess i'm a fan of floyds now since this **** is actually pissing me off.....:fire
Haven't seen it but looking forward to it. Yeah Floyd is hella insecure. I think it has a lot to do with his childhood with his father always thinks he isn't good enough/not being there. I see the same thing with Manny who is always in need or someone telling him that he is good, watching him play guitar and sing and have hundreds of pictures of him in the house. Poor upbringing. I feel bad for Floyd sometimes but hey, he got money though so he is not doing too bad.
In all honesty and I know people here will be shocked when I say this, I kind of felt sad for him a bit. Like the doc gets to a point where you can relate to his more human side. **** I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM SAYING THIS get out of me satan... .. But he seems sad and it's as if his persona is a way for him to keep up his image and his spirit but in essence he truly is a lonely and pensive individual. The doc was weird, I mean certain things we don't consider normal like the strip club/women scenario with a fiancé and other things BUT it felt very raw and honest IMO.
Both Floyd and Manny are insecure. But I think Floyd and Manny both got someone most of the world wish they had. Yes.. Floyd is surrounded by leechers. Yes.. Manny is surrounded by leechers. Yes ... they are both stupid in a lot of ways. But Both Floyd and Manny got someone who's willing to die for them despite having no blood relations. I think that's pretty special. Both BuBoy and Leonard will give up their lives for Floyd and Manny to live. I can imagine 10 years from now.. Manny and Floyd both broke.. yet Buboy and Leonard still around.. comforting them at night and reliving the glory days of beating Miguel Cotto.

Why do you think Lennox was able to overcome all this despite growing up in a worst environment than Floyd? Despite not having a dad ? Why? Do you think it's because Lewis have a stronger will? Or it's because he's a heavyweight.. 6'5 243 pounds of fighting killing muscles.. so he's naturally more secure? I think the fact Lewis grew up so big.. physically also help with his security. I notice the smaller boxers are more insecure at times.
Environment really do play a huge factor .. A 21 year old college girl acts totally different from a 21 year old girl WITH THE SAME PERSONALITY, but working as a call girl in Vegas. It's not about personality, but environment. Some of my females friends at my University took a trip to South Africa and told me girls 4 years younger than them working for drug dealers act like they are 35.
Floyd is like a child prodigy and grew up with nothing but boxing. Its like boxing and inside that ring is his church or religion. Outside of that he is just wanting to fit in and have someone around him to probably take his mind off of boxing and that life. I don't know but he is different and every time he speaks its seems weird as **** bc he never really says anything important and seems lost but as soon as its boxing talk his ass turns into a genius all of a sudden.
I would say that roger,jeff and sr would be there before ellerbe. I've seen jeff and roger in floyd's first pro fight ellerbe was no where to be found.
