    Pretty honest assessment of Bellew.

    Seems like he is trying to make a big fight for Barker but nobody is taking the bait.

    Lee said all along he wants a few fights before he has a big step up ... that is hardly ducking.

    Apart from the Martinez fight,matching barker with top boys has been a nightmare
    Middles have a stack of domestic and international contenders yet fights never come off,he is high risk low reward
    We all want to see if he can do it

    It's surprising to see a promoter slagigng his own fighters to an extent. Refreshing. We all know FW like to pretend his fighter's shits don't stink.

    like the time Barker ducked Lee to fight Belgacham for the vacant EBU title after Lee had just beaten Belgacham and Lee said he wanted the fight! :smoke

    Yes just like that. Except now its Lee doing the ducking so I expect you to be as overly critical as you were of Barker back in the day.

    Lee was poor in that and getting used to a new style. A boxer calling someone out and then doing something, that really is a rare thing....
