I was sitting here half asleep, whilst waiting for my lady to come out the bathroom all sexy to give me a good time and the thought occurred to me 'how on earth did you bring Fidel Castro into this?' I had to doubletake.

it amazes me why so many people are interested in how much money FW owes or has in the bank, how many fighters have spoken to the BBBofC about not being paid ?, and how many subscribers boxnation has all i know is i pay £10 a month for boxnation and i am more than happy with the product i get and could care less if FW wiped his arse with my £10

The FW/ Castro argument is rendered a bit moot by Rupert Murdoch collecting the money from your Sky subcriptions.

Yeah, I know all those hippies/ students are into that "Fair Trade" lark these days but I didn't think it would catch on with boxing fans.

 

Fair point Gaz, I got rid of sky a while back, although a fat headed tyrant in charge of West Ham play his part in that too.

I'd be tempted by Sky is they isolated the Sports option and dropped the price. As it is you have to pay ~80% of the full price to make sure you get all channels that boxing could be on and also get a load of channels yoou don't want.

 

BoxNation is the lungs of British boxing right now, in my opinion. Without it, we wouldn't be getting any International fights, smaller promoters would not have a platform and Khan and Haye would inevitably go to Primetime because of the insufficient funding from Sky. Right now, the only place any promoter can go to is BoxNation.

It's absolute bull**** by Sky to give all the dates to Matchroom. They can go **** themselves. Putting Matchroom alone on Sky, you'd be a moron to subscribe to SS just for boxing at this point. Even their main man, Froch, is on Sky PPV, so you're really not getting him as part of it either.

War BoxNation. I hope they continue to grow. They've already reeked in as much as they can bar what Matchroom provides.

 

Well I've been to Cuba 3 times...fantastic holiday destination so I guess I'm giving Castro my money....however, I also give the islanders money through buying stuff/tipping etc....so I guess that's the same thing as subscribing to BN
