    I bet 95% of your post have been within 7 degrees of vittles. you may like boxing, but using your words, you love vittles. your love has turned into obsession which is not healthy. what you guys do not understand is, if you stop trying to rewrite history people would not focus on the final result, and remember that it was a great fight between two top notch heavies at the time. then Vittles might be remember more for what he has done than what he didnt do. this thread was in response to the endless threads on the subject . . . its been a decade . . . its time to put the subject to restr

    you guys are way more obsessed.

    my point: Vitali dominated lewis and sent him into retirement. Lewis would never beat vitali in any form of boxing when it isnt decided by cuts. Vitali is simply better than Lewis.

    And thus your point is rendered invalid. You claim Lewis could never beat Vitali in any circumstance other than via cuts when the version of Lewis that beat Vitali via cuts in 2003 was the worst version of Lewis that ever stepped inside a boxing ring for a world title fight. A Lewis that was old, overweight, unprepared and increasingly losing all motivation to be a pro-boxer.

    Vitali faced a Lewis that was in a worse state physically and mentally then he had ever been, including the two fights Lewis lost, and he couldn't get the job done. He won two clear round, had two close rounds and lost two clear rounds before being stopped, and how is that proof that Vitali's "simply better" than Lewis?

    Vitali would of had to of fought his way back up through the ranks and Lewis would of been long retired by the time he got there....He had his chance and he blew it.

    that "if a fight couldn't be stopped on cuts" lewis would lose?

    what a silly concept. a fighter can go blind from cuts like that. many of the greatest boxers of all time lost their eyesight. the two big ones being greb and langford. greb went blind in one eye, and langford was completely blind by the time he died.

    "if he couldn't get stopped, or it wasn't allowed for him to be punched, then he would have won."

    2 things;

    1) do not try and speak logic to a Vittard, on their planet it is an insult

    2) do not bring up 2 of the top 5 ATGs in the same thread with Vittles again

    Only on planet Klit can a challenger almost get his face ripped off, loses and still be entitled (no required) to get a rematch with the heavyweight champ of the world.

    if you think that lewis would ever win more than 1 fight by cuts out of 10 then you're delusional. Or even him winning in general for that matter.
