    Even if its true, which I'm not convinced it is, it's not greatly surprising. Shiming is a top level amateur, some rounds sparring with the headgear on and heavy gloves, you'd expect him to get the better of it. 12 rounds without the headgear is a different matter.

    I don't really expect a great deal from Shiming in the pro game, not like say Lomachenko or Usyk when they go pro who I have massive expectations for. Would be a nice surprise if Shiming did go on to have a top level pro career, would do boxing the world of good to grow in China

    They're expecting him to drag 1 billion new fans into the sport. It'd be a great thing if he did become successful.

    What the... I don't even.

    He's doing a great job breaking into the Chinese market though. Gotta commend him for that. If Zou Shiming really does surpass our expectations, boxing will be a much bigger sport in China.

    Zhou is the only Chinese guy who is/was getting more publicity on his Olympics stint and that was your boss Arum wants to get the Made in China Market. Unless Arum hires Jet Li, Jackie Chan, the Ip man and Bruce lee's soul and ktfo Donaire, Ward, and your boi Floid.

    Viloria said about their sparring that he was good and fast, but had no power to speak of whatsoever. A notable absence of power.
