    Round 5

Markham is ducking down and covering up to catch the Matthews jab. Left hooks and slicing rights to the body by Markham. Matthews loops in a right to get Markham's attention and then puts in his own left hook downstairs but doesn't have quite the same dig on it. Markham is waiting and launching right hand counters over the top as Mattthews hustles in.

    10-9 Markham

    50-45 Markham

    Round 6

Markham turns Matthews and catches him off position with jabs and hooks. Markham is setting up, taking the lead with a few reaching rights over the top and covering up whenever Matthews shows a punch. Markham gets a bit wooly, missing some low sweepers and uppercuts, but he is largely out-landing Matthews thanks to his tight defense on the inside and moving every time he preemptively anticipates Matthews' attacks.

    10-9 Markham

    60-54 Markham

    Round 7

Markham is ramming the jab into Matthews' stomach and then dropping the hammer with the right to the head as he pulls straight back. Matthews is plodding sideways and pushing against Markham when they close the distance. Stiff-arms and shoves by Matthews, not looking to engage anymore. A few light right hands flipped up by Matthews as Markham stalks him and works the body.

    10-9 Markham

    70-63 Markham

I haven't heard the Dutch version of that phrase yet though, but they probably said it so many times that it still influenced the broadcast... like sort of a hidden message inside.

Like some kind of brainwashing method.

    Round 8

Markham is caught with a right hand as Matthews insistently bears down on him. Markham is ducks and swerves to catch more shots on his arms, then works the left hook into the midsection and some head counters as Matthews pulls out. Matthews bounces around on his toes, looking for a fresh angle. Markham is pinning his arms together as Matthews slaps at his waistband and then works his way up with the hooks. Nice patient counters from Markham

    10-9 Markham

    80-72 Markham

    Round 9

Markham is bending in and planting the jab or scything right on Matthews' midriff and jerking himself out while staying low and hiding his head behind his unused fist. Matthews keeps clapping over the top with his right hand, as Markham digs to the body. Markham is caught pulling back with a couple of uppercuts. Markham is caught sitting on an invisible recliner with a long-traveling overhand right by Matthews. Body shots are becoming even.

10-9 Markham, but one of Matthews' best

    90-81 Markham

They probably keep doing it until we still hear it at the ESPN2 broadcast tonight. :!:
